Everything was great from the food to the service. I love all the servers who have done excellent table service and CONSTANTLY asked about refills. I truly wish the hostess was a bit more enthusiastic. She was just very indifferent from the initial phone call to actual hosting. Finally even took the final signed bill impatiently while I was still waiting for my party to leave.

Service was outstanding. Generous portions of food. Tasty even the salad was amazing. We were all stuffed. We had left overs to take back to the hotel. Doc even had a container of grilled unseasoned beef to take back for birthday pup. The ice cream was great- fresh crunchy outer like an ice cream sandwich and can't go wrong with green tea. Very friendly workers. The two male employees grilled our entire meal and changed the grill twice.

Visiting Vegas we met some Korean American friends at this favorite Korean BBQ place. Non de script strip mall location but wow the food and service was exceptional. We met our friends order for the table and they nailed it. The server brought all the condiments such as kimchi, broccoli, daikon radish, macaroni salad, Korean pancakes, assorted radish dishes, hot pot soup etc. We grilled pork belly , rib eye , bulgoki and short ribs etc and washed everything down with Soju and Hite beer. What a treat. If you're ever in Vegas and want some legit Korean BBQ, this is the place to try.

One of the best Korean bbq restaurants I've ever been to!! I've been here a few times and we keep coming back because the food is delicious and the service is great! They cook for you and check on you often. Our servers were so attentive and friendly. We ordered the large Hobak Family Combo 1and it was perfect for 4 people to share. We always recommend this place to friends and family!

This restaurant probably has the best korean BBQ I have tried in the west coast. The cuts of meat, especially the brisket, were very flavorful and rich. Unlike many other Korean BBQ restaurants in the West coast, Hobak actually serves an icy dong-chimi soup to help cut through the fattiness of the meat. Overall great experience and I appreciate how they manage to serve authentic Korean BBQ meats and dishes without sacrificing quality. The servers were pretty attentive and assiduously cooked our meat unprompted. My only tip to the restaurant is to make the ventilation more robust to filter out the smoke.

Good quality of meat and fun atmosphere to dine and hangout with friends. Staffs were nice as well.

I do not know how this caliber of an authentic 70s style, nostalgia themed Korean BBQ restaurant operates a few miles out the Strip. This level can typically be only seen in LA or Irvine K-Town and the consistency of execution even with non-Korean employees is near impeccable. It's almost like a restauteur in LA got disappointed at how things were running and came to Vegas to prove his point. The round tables with the smoke suction setting is a classic. The banchan is plentiful and tasty. The potato pancake could be sold as an independent item but is given out as banchan. You can pretty much go with any short-rib and it is phenomenal, including the accompanying egg souffle and the jjigae. Every dish simply is magnificent and could stand on its own.Make sure to also get the corn-cheese - an absolute must-have comfort food - as well as the lunchbox in a tin. No need to describe it. Just order it.Combining all of this great meat and Korean cooking, with a friendly service, an authentic set up. No wonder Hobak get s 4.6+ at Google today. The only blemish would be the smokey interior and hope they are able to vent more frequently. Yes, it is a BBQ joint and hence there shall be smoke but it is on the thick side.Hobak is a gem in Vegas. For the locals, the visitors, and everyone in between. If you want to experience great Korean BBQ, Hobak is well worth the detour.Parking: Plenty of parking in the plaza.

I dont know much about korean culture and food but this was phenomenal. loud, tasty and fun experience (group of 8 people) been there multiple tikes and every time fresh meat, super tasty sides. I love how you use the grill yourself bit you can also ask for waitress to help you out. If I will be back in Vegas My first place to eat will be there!!!

Great service and food! The servers were attentive always checking on our meat and ensuring it was cooked to perfection! I enjoyed having someone ELSE grill our meat while we talked and laughed. I have been to other spots where someone, in the party, is assigned to cook and it can be time consuming and annoying to do. Even as a date, I would be tired of doing it over and over so I just think this place meets the sweet middle of service, food, and ambiance. We also celebrated a birthday and they have a fun way of doing it. With the music turned up they came out with sparklers on Ice cream sandwiches and a whole lot of clapping! FUN FUN FUN!

Most Korean BBQ restaurants in Vegas are AYCE, but I prefer a la carte, with higher quality meat and less pressure to over consume. Decor at Hobak reminds me of Kang Ho Dong Baekjeong. The meat quality matches Dong Baekjeong as well. I was impressed with the quality of bean paste soup. Most of the time, bbq restaurants treat bean paste soup like an afterthought, but here, the soup was very tasty and came with plenty of zucchini and sliced pork. Steam egg and plenty of banchan round out the rest of the dishes on the table. We came during the day while the restaurant was mostly empty, so the service was also very good. Why 4 stars instead of 5? The servers don't know how to properly cook marinated meat. They crank up the fire while grilling meat with sweet marinate, and the result was some pieces were charred due to the sugar being burnt. This made me cringed and wanted to take over the cooking.

Amazing vibes the moment you step in, from the old school Korean street vibes to the energetic kpop beats. Served by a more amazing Tai, who cooked our meats to perfection and took care of us throughout our meal. Ordered the Family Combo 3, which came with 4 meats, a steamed egg and a tofu soup. And thats not all, it came with rice and a whole list of banchans. No regrets stepping in here on a rainy day. Left with bellies full and hearts flying. ;) P.S. the green tea ice cream at the end is the bomb.
