Don’t go unless you’re going to ask for Ronnie. the chef I had last night made food that was VERY UNSEASONED. SUPER BLAND. i’m actually very upset. that chef needs more training. the “fried rice” we were served was still white. just a terrible experience bc he just can’t cook

This is my favorite hibachi place! Ronnie is the best! The food is fantastic and they will tell you how to combine sauces to make the absolute best taste. Their steak, lobster and scallops are wonderful!

-Asked for a seat at the bar, got a seat on the grill-ordered nigiri, they brought sashimi-menu says plate comes with rice, no rice- ordered kirin beer (japanese), I got sapporo beer (canadian)(Of course, I got every time: " I tought you said..." and the mistake was always leading to something more expensive.- low sodium and regular soy are exactly the same cheap soy sauce in kikkoman containers.Ok, those are facts. These are opinions:-fish spent ages frozen. Ages. Taste like fat and water only. Maybe tuna had some taste. Like something that used to taste like fish.-worst wasabi ever. They prepared it... 3 maybe 5 days ago. Or just opened and poured, but they obviously kept it for days, since youbare not supposed to.-edamame was cold. Just as the table cold.- tried to fix any mistake with tons of oil. Burnt-100-times oil.- miso soup... no comments.- poepole "tried" to be nicer after 3 or 4 mistakes.- and seasoned vegetables means onions. Tons of fried onions- music, thabk god is good. Calm.99 usd. Before tip. Which, of course, was zero square (zero x zero)I get it. I am not going to be welcome there anymore...No worries. Not coming back. Maybe if they switch to o a french fries place. To find a purpose for all that burnt oil

First time here and it was delicious. I had the land and sea which was so
Wasn't what I was expecting. Food was mediocre, salty and oily fried rice, flavorless beef and the lobster was so waste of money. The place was congested and looked dark and dingy.Service was great!! Our server was on top of our whole table's needs regarding refills and clearing up the dishes.Overall good experience but not for what the on going price is.

Where do I start... We were a group of 4, the food was fresh and our chef Ronnie made everything melt in our mouths, from the steak to the scallops, made to perfection. We had a Birthday party and the locals at out table got into the fun with us. Great atmosphere and the service was top notch, from our hostess to our drink drink servers. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Ronnie was a total goof ball, had us laughing all through dinner with great entertainment too. Thanks for the great memories. We all recommend Hokkaido!
