House of Dutch Pot Las Vegas

Wasn’t really impressed with the food. I’m trini/Guyanese and wasn’t impressed.

We were seated upon our arrival. There was a little bit of a wait for the food preparation but was so worth it. We tried the ox tail, jerk chicken, and jerk salmon. The ox tail and chicken just melted off the bone and went so well will the sauce. The salmon was tender and tasty as well. The waitress Sara was helpful and patient in explaining menu options and favorites. Will definetly return whenever coming back to LV.

The overall experience was wonderful. Sara our server went over the whole menu with us. We had the Jerk Shrimp with an order of plantains. We saw the Chef make this on Guys Grocery Games. WOW. It was fantastic. Each ingredient married perfectly with each other. Way to go Chef O’Neil Smith. I can’t wait to comeback to your restaurant again with friends. We also had pineapple ginger juice and I had watermelon strawberry lemonade juice. I highly recommend trying this restaurant because you won’t be disappointed.

Ordered via UberEats! The jerk calamari was horrible. It tasted like it was breaded, frozen calamari from a bag, that they deep fried with jerk sauce on the side and called it jerk calamari. The mashed potatoes tasted like powered mash potatoes, the macaroni was ok. I had the jerk chicken with oxtails. The chicken was so dry and their were barely any oxtails. I am a foodie and this was very, very disappointing and a waste of calories and money.

The moment I walk through the door I was greeted by an amazing waitress that serviced me with the best customer service you could possibly ask for!! Then the owner came out and greeted with his presence and for the second time I was treated with the utmost courtesy and respect, this is something that has become a rarity amongst people in general and I witnessed it twice in one day!! Now let’s get to the food. I had just saw the episode on Food Network so I was already expecting it to be A great choice plus I enjoy Caribbean food. I had the combo, oxtails and jerk, chicken with double rice and peas, and the island punch to wash it all down. Food came out hot and was Presented beautifully. The flavor was amazing. I enjoyed it. I’ll give it 10 out of 10 and highly recommend if you are in the Las Vegas area you should give them a try.

After eating fast food while vacationing in Vegas far a feww days, my family and I decided to get a good Sunday dinner. House of Dutch Pot did not disappoint, the meat was well seasoned the portion was appropriate

If you like Jamaican food, the House of Dutch Pot has a full vegan menu as well. They do not cross contaminate. I had the Ital stew and it was VERY good. We chatted with the owner Chef O (who happens to be vegetarian) and he was extremely nice. Some friends tried multiple other vegan dishes and everyone loved their food. If you’re craving Jamaican flavors with vegan options, definitely check them out!

Great carribean food. Jerk flavors are deep and delicious, not crazy spicy. Fried chicken and jerk chicken watermelon salad were good. Pineapple carrot cake was complex and a big hot.

Website says 8pm but they close the kitchen completely down at 715. The cook/chef has an attitude and has no regard for those that traveled far to eat. If you close at 8 its should be at 8 not when you feel like it. Last call is inconsistent everytime.

This was my second experience at house of dutch pot and I had the stew chicken, jerk chicken, cabbage, festival, sorrel, and Mac & Cheese....everything was top notch andour server Kadian was excellent.

This place was ok, My mom's oxtail was good, and my oxtail fries were good I don't like coleslaw on my jerk tacos. It was a little expensive I wish they gave more oxtails but it wasn't bad.
