We were genuinely excited about dining at Hugo's Cellar, especially given its reputation. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations. From the start, our waiter was noticeably unfriendly. The food didn't redeem the service either — the ribeye steak was surprisingly tough, and another guest's pork chop was just as difficult to cut through. For a place that markets itself as a fine dining steakhouse, this was a letdown. To top it off, we were shocked by a $40 split meal charge — the highest we've ever encountered. With so many outstanding steakhouses in Las Vegas, we won't be returning to Hugo's Cellar. There are better options with friendlier service, better food, and more reasonable pricing.
Have been going to Andiamo's for years for anniversary dinner. Last few years have been lacking. Happily found our replacement going forward . Staff, food, ambiance everything was spectacular.
Incredible experience start to finish. Best prime rib I've ever had. Cannot wait to return.
Do not miss this place! Best steakhouse in Vegas and the ambience is second to none! Service is exceptional too!
An extraordinary experience! Probably one of the best restaurants in the United States! The staff , the drinks, the food, and the I ambiance is unlike anything I have experienced' “Old Vegas” had definitely seen its better days! Hugo's Cellar is a diamond in the rough!
Hugos' is always a great place to dine in Las Vegas. Atmosphere is relatively quiet, if you dine early and the food is excellent. John, the sommelier, is always great with wine recommendations. The salad cart is always a great way to begin your meal.
Food was very good. Amazing ambience - attentive and welcoming wait staff. The rose, anniversary card and special dessert was a nice touch.
Outstanding service Great value Real “Old Vegas” ambiance Would recommend to anyone staying in Las Vegas!
The fellow who made our salads was brusque, really making a negative impression on our two guests who were first-timers. This has never happened to us before last night.
The dining experience and cuisine quality at Hugo's Cellar is the best kept secret in Downtown Las Vegas. A visit to Hugo's is a MUST every time we venture to Vegas.

We have been celebrating our anniversary here for many years! It's always such a treat! Our favorite is the fabulous salad offered with our entree!
They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived , they made my friends 60th birthday super special with personalized dessert! Food was one of the most top notch meals I've had in Vegas and maybe the country so far! Loved the presentation of the table side salad and table side bananas foster! And raspberry sorbet to cleanse the palette! Can't wait to go back
My favorite place in Las Vegas and it always meets my high expectations! The service could not have been better. The food could not have been better. It's got that old school Vegas feel to it. Most nice places in Vegas are good, but this place actually feels like a good value still. Highly recommend! Dinner is an event here.
We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, had the Hugo's cut prime rib and had a great time, best prime rib in Vegas!!
The service was amazing! The bartender Dean started off our experience with amazing drinks and fun conversations. The busman Javier was so attentive and the waiter Jose and Roxanne were outstanding! I could not have asked for any better experience! The maitredee Steve was very attentive and had a fantastic personality!
