By far one of my favorite places to dine in Las Vegas. The service is great and the food is delicious. The table side salad prep is awesome as well as the table side dessert prep. I recommend the bananas foster. It is delicious. The steaks are great. The old school vibe is very nice. Everyone that I have recommended Hugo's Cellar to has become repeat customers...
Food was SO good as was the raspberry lemon drop martini, and the service was exceptional!
All the wait staff was very professional and very knowledgeable about what they were doing in hosting us. I love the rose as well! We love Hugo's and will definitely be back!
Our dining experience was disappointing. The food was excellent as usual. I have been dining here once a year for 30 years so I was very surprised that our waiter was quite unfriendly and that we were hurried through each course. We were still having our palate cleanser sorbet and our meal came out. Also, we were not even done with our entree and someone came to try to take our plates. Also, my friend and I had a reservation for 7 which we showed up for at that time. They tried to seat us in a large round table for 6 in the middle of everything. We asked to be seated in a smaller booth which they did comply with. I am not sure I will go back next year.
From Dean the bartender, Mark the server, and John the sommelier it always is such a great experience!
I've never been disappointed in their service, quality of food and hospitality. If you want a great martini at a decent price, this is the place. The food that followed was also beyond reproach!
The prime rib had no flavor and was very tough to cut despite being medium or pink in the middle. I've had better cuts at Outback Steakhouse! The waitress came by initially to ask how everything looked- but never asked me again how it tasted. I tried to get her attention a couple times to tell her about the prime rib - but she was too busy and would not even make eye contact. Overall the service from her after the initial seating was not good. I will not be coming back here.
Great food and excellent service also I had booked for 8.30 but asked at the restaurant if they had a table earlier at 7.30 and they managed to find us a table staff were lovely
This was a fantastic experience with awesome service and amazing food. The atmosphere was perfect for a very nice dinner. HIGHLY recommend!
Dropped in for an impromptu visit and was greeted warmly, and got a table despite not having a reservation.
The experience, however, had a couple of inconsistencies worth noting though. Before being seated, I was politely asked to remove my cap in the dining area, which I did without issue, understanding the importance of decorum. However, within 10 minutes, I noticed two other guests walking around with caps on, and later, another guest entered wearing leggings and a sports bra. That left me wondering about the consistency of the dress code policy. I did bring this up with the hostess when she stopped by to check in on our meal. Although, I'm still wondering whether a cap is really against decorum v. Walking around in gym attire.
As for the food — the Chilean sea bass, priced at $93, arrived lukewarm right off the waiters trey, as did the baked potato on the side. For a dish at this price point, I expected it to be served hot and with more attention to detail. Ridiculous.
Overall, while the service and ambiance were lovely, the inconsistencies in policy and food temperature detracted from what could have been a truly premium dining experience.

My first impression was a negative one. Steve made me feel very unwelcomed to this location. Since we were starving and had made the reservation we decided to go ahead and stay. Every other employee was super welcoming and had great customer service. The food is over priced, however had good flavor. Overall is was a nice experience.
Went to Hugos recently with my wife to celebrate her retirement. The food was good- as expected.
The problem was the service. We noticed huge differences between the service staff. While a few were very friendly, our primary waiter, a surly African American man who showed us ZERO personality the whole time was obviously trying to RUSH us out of our table, overlapping our courses, then bringing the bill immediately after we had gotten our dessert. I mentioned something to him a couple times about how we were not in a hurry, and he made a rude comment and vanished. We had to flag someone else down to complete the payment.
It was so bizarre I would not recommend the place. The NY Steak was excellent but I thought very small for $75.
Old school Vegas. Food was amazing, tableside service was attentive and warm.
Start to finish, it was an excellent experience. Service was impeccable. We tried a lot of high end restaurants while in town and Hugo's Cellar was the definitely the best! We will definitely be back when we are back in town
Nice staff. Vince and David were great. Good steak house. Lobster bisque was good. Artichoke dip ok. Prime rib great. Wine is not marked up that much. No drink menu but a full bar.
