We come to Las Vegas 4x a year and for over 20 years, hush puppies was our go to spot on every visit. Saturday we arrived after an absence of several years due to Covid and thought the place was closed because the parking lot was so empty, first clue all was not well. We went in anyway and saw the lovely remodel job and the absence of the salad bar, second clue. We sat down and looked at the menu, HORRORS no all you can eat fish, no fiddlers, no alligator. My husband said let's go. I should have listened . The food was o repriced and terrible. I order chicken big mistake, it was overcooked to burned. I send it back. My husband ordered clam chowder, that was milk, potatoes and bacon and flavorless at that. Even the hush puppies were not up to par and they were the best thing I ate. I was so hurt my favorite food place in Vegas gone the way of the Dodo bird. I am sure the locals know the score, zero so Visitors don't waste your time or money, but I expect it won't be here on my next visit .

This place is the BOMB!!! I ordered alot and it was all good from the tacos to the banana pudding, the fish was soo good and I don't even eat hush puppies but ima get them every time because I will be back ? my boyfriend is a picky eater and he loved everything also so now he have a new chicken spot for hot wings and he can enjoy his pudding because he say none can make it .. he's already been a couple of times ..great place and great music. #aVibe
First time here the server/cashier was good. Vibes were good. I ordered the catfish basket with Mac and cheese and a side of shrimp. Paid a little over 21 dollars for the meal. My catfish was more batter than it was fish. The batter is good but there wasn’t really any meat the hush puppies over cooked the catfish looked like it’s been in the same oil not changed. The Mac and cheese portion that I got the 2.99 upgrade wasn’t worth it as the noodles wasn’t cooked through and I’m not sure what kinda of Mac and cheese it is but just wasn’t for me. Plus the down side the server didn’t put my shrimp in the box so I only got half my meal. Only thing that’s saving it from a 2 star is that I would give it another chance in hoping this review will shine light on whoever owns the place. Great potential great environment but I do believe the food could be better and platted better my box looks like they just didn’t care and threw the food in there any kind of way

Ok...I was on the fence because the reviews are either really solid or really bad. Located right inside the entrance of Boulevard mall. I decided to take a look on my way out of this very underwhelming mall with no real expectations. The guy at the front was so friendly. I hope this is his establishment because it will grow with that genuine hood service. I think his name was either Kem or Ken. I just ordered a small Mac n cheese. It was indeed pretty small but I guess if served with fish and shrimp and other items it would be fine. HOWEVER...the flavor?!Crazy! It was seasoned so well and so hot and fresh and cheesy. It tasted almost like a dish that would be a pasta dish at a restaurant. Like...y'all gave me this tiny portion cuz you know I'm about to come and buy 7 more sides of this. So good! The size was 3-5 bites total...but my world is changed. I see things from a different point of view. I believe I can fly. I have exited the matrix. Life has just begun. Stupid good! I'll be back just for that Mac n cheese and Kem/Kens service. They are allowed to make the Mac for thanksgiving.

Hush Puppies is a great spot with excellent food. They had a laid back vibe and the staff was friendly. When the food came out the owner Cam delivered it himself to our table. I got the catfish and fries and my girlfriend got the pastrami sandwich. Both were generous portions and the food was delicious! I would definitely recommend them anytime your in the mall or if you're in the mood for some really good food!

First off - I ordered and PAID online from a link from their website but when I got there they said that system wasn't connected to them and belonged to the old owners. So I paid ANOTHER $45 for food that we threw out because it had so much salt on it. Hopefully it's growing pains and they sort everything out but I'll never go back.

Omg this food is amazing I went on my lunch the service wa great and the owner was down to earth . I ordered catfish and because the prices didn't match the internet I received a free drink . I have been back several times it's good to call in early if you have a limited time.
