Ichabod's Lounge and Restaurant

Seriously? What happened to this place?? There used to be a singing pianist every night. Now there’s a trio playing weird top 40 music. Girl couldn’t even sing that well and the pianist sounded like he was auditioning rather than playing for enjoyment. Food and drinks have also gotten way too expensive. Make of it what you will, but I think the magic of this place has finally run out. This review is retroactive to my experience on Wednesday, August 6th.

This is such a great place. Reminds me of the real Vegas!

I’ve never heard of this place and I went there for a party. It was a pretty good party and the people I New had a party in the dining room and they accommodated and set a really large table for them. I enjoyed my euro salad, and I had a iced tea. All the other dishes looked really good too.

I would like to say this is an amazing establishment. They have amazing food. Amazing customer service the owner keeps this place looking amazing. You can go here to have dinner or have a good time. Live music.

Service can use some work older ladies set in their ways but still have some friendliness left. Food was just ok, not bad, but not the best. I felt like I overpaid for what I got.

Ended up going here after we were ignored at Village Pub on East Flamingo. And I have to tell you, I cannot remember the server's name it's an older lady, small, she was amazing and hilarious loved her to death. And the food was delish!

So I usually stick to the restaurant side of Ichabods but this time I opted for the lounge since I wanted to play a little video poker. Glad I did! They had my go-to drink: a Heineken 0.0%.

I asked for a menu and went straight for my comfort food—the Meatloaf with a baked potato and steamed broccoli. A classic, and reasonably priced (especially in today’s economy).

Service was great—Steph behind the bar was friendly and welcoming, and Kelly, my server, was attentive and made sure to time my meal just the way I like it. I asked to finish my salad before the main course came out, and she made it happen.

By the time I was done eating… let’s just say I proudly reestablished myself as a member of the Clean Plate Club!

As for the video poker… it wasn’t exactly my lucky day, but hey—that’s the game. Win some, lose some.

If you’re in the area, definitely stop by. The place has that classic Old Vegas vibe that’s getting harder to find these days.

These people have it all figured out. Music seven nights a week. The atmosphere is very old-school Vegas. There’s a lot to look at on the walls the bathroom the people have big personalities. They definitely ask your name. They will remember your drink. They will make a joke or two if you’re dining alone. They will try to keep you company. There is bar gambling. There are definitely regulars that have their parking spots in the park in the same places. There are characters abound. there are regular monthly bands and acts that come through. There are some lovely ladies here to dance with so if you’re a single gentleman that wants to come and take a lady for a spin, there are plenty of ladies at the bars that will smile at you and wink at you and flirt with you and want to dance with you so come on out.
