Late breakfast at IHOP this afternoon, in Stevenson Ranch, CA, taking advantage one of the four $7 menu items. It was my gal's idea, actually; I wasn't thrilled, as I have had a few off experiences with IHOP food, but she needed to eat asap (after a medical procedure), so off we went. Admittedly, the Stevenson Ranch location is clean, quiet, well-groomed; that's about it. My order of scrambled eggs w/cheese, bacon, hash browns was nearly inedible. The bacon tasted rancid and over-cooked; the eggs had big chunks of uncooked cheese, most unappetizing; the hash browns were tasteless. I left most of the food on the plate; I should have sent it back. My gal had the pancakes, eggs, bacon--- with hash browns that appeared accidentally. She said it was just ok, but she was hungry. The decaf coffee, for $3.99, was passable only, and maybe not even. Even though we got the $7 "specials," the bill, plus tip, was still $28, which for the awful food, is no longer a "bargain." I advised our waitress, when asked how our meals were, that they were less than satisfactory; she smiled and took my credit card. All-in-all, quite frankly, we will never return to IHOP.
My fiancé went to the IHOP on Warden road this evening. It wasn’t busy and he was ignored. He just happened to be wearing a sheriffs deputy shirt. He sat quietly for 30 minutes and wasn’t spoken to or waited on. We used to love IHOP but apparently that location has decided to join those who look down on our law enforcement. I hope that’s not the case. We won’t be back.
GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE+1(8O5)-41O 5OO2 NO NONSENSE AND GREAT ASSISTANCE!!!
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Nash the manager at IHOP in Rehoboth Beach and top order was wrong and manager refused to fix it
Order is wrong and was given less that what I requested.
I asked for pancakes and add strawberries and whipped cream. Not banana pancakes. Also I asked to swap out the sausage for bacon. I was given 1 slice of bacon for exchange of two pork sausages.
I won't be coming to this location again.
Pancakes were not very warm.
Bacon was cold.
Strawberries are still frozen and not fresh.
We were a big party and they were able to accommodate us with no issues. The staff was friendly, the service was fast, and the place was clean.
Food was great service was awesome
You know, I hate like heck to be so negative about this place, but I have to be honest.
In the quest for the franchisee to realize profitability, unfortunately they have gone down a rabbit hole.
The problem is that they have cut back on staff because it is slow. The last time I came in was to pick up to go order last Wednesday at about 8:45 am. When I walked in, all the tables were empty. The server was just seating 2 people. Considering the location and time you would think the place should be packed, but they have disappointed too many guests with bad service because of lack of staff when it does pick up. Not to mention very inconsistent food quality and cook times.
Also the app is not well developed and confusing. The rewards program is a joke. To redeem a reward, you have to first pick what food you want, then they give you a long set of numbers that you cannot copy or transfer to the payment page. You have a write it down on a piece of paper, because it is too long to remember. And half the time it says it is not valid.
Want to hear something funny? I cashed in some of my rewards for a short stack of pancakes. Guess what? There is no short stack in the app or online menu, so it can't be redeemed! I sent an email to IHOP customer service asking about it. After 3 days they wrote me back. You know what they said? They want me to CALL customer service to get an answer.
Bottom line: After ordering from this location in person, pick up and delivery, at least 10 times unfortunately, they consistently disappointed me. All of it self inflicted. Considering, as of this posting, they have several breakfast specials for only $7, the place should be packed.
Set for success. Fix the service , staffing shortages, food consistency, app, online menu, rewards and customer service.
Worst service ever …very discriminating lame management..
I was out and about and decided to grab some breakfast at the I-HOP in Ahwatukee, Az off Ray Rd and the I-10. It was very busy but I was seated right away, in a nice bright area where I requested. Its an older building but its very clean and comfortable. Zane was my server and brought coffee right away. They have great coffee! I ordered the spinach mushroom omelet and hashed browns. It was done perfectly with plenty of fillings. The Hollandaise sauce was amazing. Hashed browns were crisp. My server, Zane was pleasant and attentive. I'm so glad I stopped in today. Great experience! 5 Stars♡

Winston Salem, NC on Silas Creek Worst service, rude waitress, sat for almost an hour with nothing, didn't get what we ordered, NEVER refilled anything, food undercooked, and waitress argued with manager when we complained...we were there (3 of us) for OVER 2 hours to just have pancakes. We were only 1 of only 3 families in the whole restaurant!! TERRIBLE experience and sorry I paid anything!!!
The cook and cashier that worked Tuesday April 8th at 1am are idiots !!! If your hungry at that time of night then eat somewhere else !!
El mejor servicio, los mejores pancakes son los de IHOP.
