We came in yesterday for an early dinner around 4pm and were sat at the booth by this older waitress. She had a smug look on her face and never once smiled, my thoughts were she had dry humor... but she was RUDE! I was so excited to have some REAL spicy Indian food, I told her several times how I loved spicy food and that's why we came to India Palace vs the other mildly spicy buffet style Indian restaurants. We ordered garlic naan (1 order was pretty small and burned to a crisp... but it was tasty), lamb biryani rice (we asked for no extra spice since the kids would try it... the waitress said it was a bit spicy and we were fine with that... and it was delicious... it came with raita too), tandoori chicken (it came out sizzling hot, a bit dry and needed more salt... but it was good)... and then I said I wanted VERY spicy chicken tikka masala... the waitress said 1-5 and we said 4... it came out less spicy than the biryani rice! I waved the waitress down to let her know it wasn't spicy at all... Instead of apologizing for her mistake she went on to tell me that there were two levels of spice... basically "white-people" spice levels and "Indian-people" spice levels... she should have said 1-10... she was very demeaning in the way she blamed me for her own mistake... and then what really ticked me off was that she said she was going to add green chili to it herself instead of having the cooks re-make the dish... what kind of service is that? I told her I didn't want it, and to take it off the bill... she took the curry and came back and said I needed to take it, and I said "No, I do not want it...take it off the bill"... she kept shoving it in my face till I was furious and said we'll just get to-go boxes and we will take the bill. I will NEVER come back here again because of that waitress... the food was good but she just left such a bad experience for me... I would rather drive a bit further and go to Taj Palace in Henderson... at least the service and the food there are great!

Veena was awesome. Great service and good food. I recommend it to everyone. If you are in Vegas and looking for Indian food, this is the place to go!

This restaurant was recommended by my husband's client as the best Indian food in the city. He's Indian so we took his recommendation seriously and it didn't disappoint. They have an extensive menu, probably more extensive than two of my old haunts, Bombay House in Utah and Lovash in Philly. The flavors of the vegetable korma and curried chickpeas were perfect. Best korma I've had hands down. The area of town is a little sketchy and the facility is a bit run down but it appeared clean. I gave 4 stars because the ambience was a little awkward for an anniversary dinner and our spice levels were served in reverse. But, Veena was an attentive server and very pleasant. We will return. It was definitely worth the drive, especially that rice pudding! The wine prices were great too. I would recommended not to skip the naan or paratha.

Great food and a bar with a really nice selection of Indian whiskey. Northern Indian cuisine, but they absolutely killed it with the lamb vindaloo. Garlic naan was perfect with the right amount of ghee. Takes credit cards and I highly recommend.

Great food and great service! Was a little skeptical going in, but I had an excellent experience eating and loved the food. I’m a big fan of Indian food and this fulfilled my craving very well. We got the chicken curry, chicken Biriyani, garlic nan, mango lassi, and house salad. I inhaled my food as it was so delicious and flavorful without being overwhelmingly spicy or salty. Great service from Rina and felt well taken care of like I was in an Indian Auntie’s house. It seems like the low reviews are coming from people who don’t really understand Indian food and are criticizing it for being too authentic. So definitely give this place a try!
