I accidentally placed my order for the wrong location and they called on my behalf to the one I needed and they made my food at the lake Meade location. My food was already made at the durango location. I was ready to pay twice since it was my mistake and they had already made my food at one spot and were now making it again and my preferred spot, but I didn't have to. And of course the food was great!

It's not the same Island Flavors when first open. Different owner. Menu is limited. No lau lau, furikake shrimp. I ordered mix combo, furikake chicken and roast pork. Roast pork was dry. Also ordered kalbi fried rice and it was terrible 😫. Not even a taste of kalbi. I will never go back there again. Lots of other authentic hawaiian restaurants in Vegas.
Food did not disappoint. Lived here for 10 years and I thought I missed Zippys until they got here and I realized Island Flavor is much better than Zippys. This location is more generous with the portions than the others. I was pleasantly surprised. I actually had enough Furikake chicken to feel full after my meal. They also have been investing a lot in CRM and working to entice you to revisit which is nice. You feel appreciated. I’m sure they’re feeling pressure from Zippys taking market share leading to these efforts. Lower stars bc the little muffy working was extremely rude, dismissive and should be working in the back of house shoveling the grease out of the fryer not customer facing bc their attitude was nasty. My home for a teriyaki chicken plate and spam musubi. I wish they still had the dobash cake though. The cake was a perfect ending but oh well. Still delicious food.
