This is by far one of my favorite poke places to go eat. I have not been to Hawaii yet to see if I can find anything better. But I doubt it. My fav and number 1 poke spot.

Had a last-minute get together with some friends and needed some quick food to serve. Wow! Ordered two mix-plates, a dozen malassadas and a whole custard pie. Everything was soooo DELICIOUS! The worker on the phone was incredibly nice and helpful. When my husband went to pick up the order, the manager, Kapua, helped him with the Clover app to earn discount points, offered him a cold beverage and even helped him out to the car. Now THAT is exceptional customer service. LOVE Island Sushi! Thank you!!!

Thank you Kapua! I never would’ve known about this place otherwise but I’m so glad I do now! Might be my new favorite restaurant! I’m not the most adventurous person when it comes to trying new foods, so I love an AYCE option cause if I try something new and it’s not for me, my husband will most likely enjoy it. But literally every bite of every dish here was incredible! I normally stay away from ANYTHING that says spicy because all my brain can focus on is “my mouth is in fire” that I can’t focus on any FLAVOR. With the garlic chicken, it WAS spicy but the FLAVOR was so delicious it outweighed the spicy. The surf n turf roll was by far my favorite thing. The kalua pork was a close second. And the sushi was fantastic. My one and ONLY criticism would be I would LOVE if they had a garlic edamame option WITHOUT the Spicey chili powder. But even that’s still not enough for me to give this establishment anything below five stars. We will definitely be back!!!

Food is decent however they seem to have an issue with including the correct items with take-out orders. The menu posted on their website also appears incorrect.
I won’t be going here anymore as I shouldn’t need to micromanage and check my order before leaving and then having to wait for the missing items while the rest of my order gets cold.

There's no negative comment about this, just the fact we came here to have breakfast but realized that they don't open til 9am, but their website or on Google shows that they open at 8am.

So my wife had a business deal in Vegas, and Island Sushi is one of the places she stops at before heading home to Arizona, so she ordered the Meat Jun plate, Somen Salad and Fried Saimin/Noodles, the noodles was good, we had it better before, the disappointing dish she got was the Meat Jun, never in my life did I ever had Meat Jun this bad.....the meat was flavorless, the egg batter was as thick as the meat with a partial cooked egg white on it.....now maybe its under new ownership idk but its things like this that either makes it or breaks it for us locals. Please do better 🤙🏾🤙🏾

So we’ve been coming to this spot for YEARS from when poke express used to be In the back I’m sure it’s gone through different owners and chefs because the food always taste different….this time we ordered the hamburger steak supah and meat jun…1/2 pound furikAki poke and 1/2 pound shoyu ahi and 1/2 pound Kim chee cucumbers 😳 sad to say the poje was not it only because there was no pop flavor just tasted like somebody just when throw shoyu and furikAki inside pau …the cucumbers neva have enough sauce and wasnt soaked long enough gotta be overnight or else junk
Hamburger steak was ono 🤙🏽gravy was good
The supah get extras but I dunno for that price I was expecting more (stupid me )
Meat Jun (and I’m a connoisseur) was meh
The meat supposed to be fall apart tender bruh I had to chew till my jaw was sore 😬
Oh I forgot I got one slice butter mochi bomb dot com for us 2 our total was $70 something
Crazy yea das what I said….so with that being said probably not gonna go back anytime soon
Oh I substituted fried saimin instead of rice and that was super ono … mahalo island sushi for your many years of service

Don’t waste your guys time here. As an islander the food here ain’t the best. They denied me for ordering 30 minutes before closing and a week later they denied me for ordering a hour before closing. Can’t wait for zippys to open right above them, it’s gonna be the same food just better.

Terrific family-friendly restaurant serving Hawaiian comfort food. Huge selection with something for everyone. We (grandpa, dad, and 6-year old daughter) had loco moco burrito, kalua pig and cabbage, fried noodles (w/ spam), and tempura banana sundae for dessert. All were exceptional—tasty with generous portions. They even have a military discount. We’ll be back!

Was told to go here by a local friend!! Definitely will be visiting again. A LOT of combo options and food choices. They even changed the TV channel so I could watch the sports game I wanted to see.
