I was visiting Las Vegas for a work conference and we went to Jake's for karaoke bar. We had a fabulous time. Staff is attentive and the regular crowd is friendly. This place is off the Strip so you get to sing a lot more, the beer is reasonably priced and they don't blast the sound. We will be back for sure.

Came in for a quick drink and found an excellent neighborhood bar. Plenty of tvs, pool tables ect. Joy the bartender was very helpful and fun to talk with. I'll be back Friday to check on the steak or salmon dinner special.

Steak and Eggs Vegas Style Try this place on Monday nights, when they offer a T-bone steak dinner for $10. You can't go wrong. Great drinks, friendly atmosphere. None of the pressure and anonymous service you get on the Strip. A hidden gem that is well worth a visit! Great stop before you hit the Raiders game because there is nothing to do around the stadium before the game. Thanks

I have lived in las Vegas about 50 years and remember how this town was in the old days. Many of the bars have changed hands or closed and the old Vegas bars I remember are all gone. Then while at work we were talking about the old days of the great Las Vegas bars and a couple of the old timers mentioned Jake's. Right away I was wanting to know where this bar was located. My first time there I was so excited to once again find a bar like I was used to. The atmosphere was old Vegas. The Friday knight Salmon dinner was the best I have eaten. The employees made me feel as if they knew me and treated me like I was a long time customer. I had to stay for the karaoke. Their are some really talented people who can sing. If you are looking for a bar that treats you like a King/High Roller you need to give Jakes a try.

Awesome local place limited food menu but good stuff drinks are reasonably priced and bartenders are super friendly. Karaoke night is always fun. Great atmosphere not alot of gaming machines but if you can get one it’s a good place to chill get some drinks and play some keno or video poker. They are always welcoming here everytime we come.
Came here with friends and yes cane to drink. Well that wasn't possible, stood at the bar for 10 min and couldn't even get acknowledged at all by the bar tender so I gave up. They lost my money. Within that 10 min to describe the bartender for whom ever reads this and hopefully the owner. It was a woman with dirty black hair dredded up wearing a beanie. It's not even busy and she seems like she can't handle it. Worst service I've ever seen by a bartender and I'm 50 years old so I've been around.Think in the future I'm going somewhere else. Sorry but if you can't serve bottles of beer better then a sloth moves then you should look for another career. I've included a picture of the bartender, not her face so to keep that offline but at least the owner will know who om talking about

I've been going to this bar for about 5 years now, and last night was my last time ever going back! I'm here every Friday for the steak dinner because it's a good deal for $14 and the bartender Brittney, there's actually two of them, and they are both AMAZING, but after last night I'd rather go eat a beef hotdog at the stage door on the strip and get cheaper drinks..so lastnight I put money in the jukebox like everyone else and played a few songs. When my songs came on, the owner(Cindy) came out and cut them off IMMEDIATELY! Now granted, this is your bar and you choose what music you want to hear, but when you have a jukebox for customers who pay their money to listen to their music, what gives you the right to just cut it off!? At least give the customer their money back. After she did that, the bartenders immediately knew it was a problem. One bartender told me that she doesn't like rap music and removed all the rap and Hispanic music out the jukebox. How prejudice! I asked him, why would you want to work for someone like that, and he said because he needs the money..I'd rather stand on a corner holding a sign then KNOWINGLY work for a racist business owner! He continued to say he lost a lot of his night clients because of this. I don't usually write reviews but I think people should know what type of business owner is getting their money. Supposedly she tells the bartenders that her older white customers have been coming there for years and do not want to hear that music..so maybe she should put a sign on her door that states "whites only"! Had I known she was a racist, I would NEVER have stepped foot in there or spent a dime in that place! I definitely will never be back..Don't spend your money in a racist bar..Vegas is full of bars that love ALL people of ALL races..this is definitely not one!

Every time the film crew goes to Las Vegas we all spend Friday evening at Jakes. It is one of the last real Las Vegas bars with the atmosphere. Their Steak night is what I remember of Las Vegas's inexpensive food and then we stay for Karaoke. Jake's is a must visit when in Las Vegas.
