I was 3rd in line, the two folks ahead of me used their credit card as I noticed they signed a receipt after. I also remembered that they didn’t have to show their I.D. At any time, when I went to pay I was asked to show my ID. Sept 30th is a day to remember and reflect racism towards Indigenous people… I was once again reminded that not everyone is willing or ready to help end racism towards Indigenous people

Java Vegas, was a treat for me I was visiting with good friends, when it was mentioned that it's appetizer time, well gift cards are awesome food was as good a "appetizers" fare anywhere,,,hahaha,,but seriously if you want to talk, eat, not rush, or just get it to go you will not be disappointed from walking in to ,,SAYING DAM THAT WAS GOOD WHERE CAN I STRETCH OUT BEFORE A 2nd,portion,,as Java Vegas does not mean mean just a DAM GOOD HOT CUP COFFEE, IT MEANS WHERE GO TO MEET M EATJAMES K CAESAR

Fresh pastries and great turkey and ham croissant sandwiches. I had the turkey. You better be hungry it's a big sandwich. All kinds of coffee's hot and cold. This is inside of the Gold Coast Casino. Oh and the best part of this place, I can watch football on the big screen tvs while I enjoy my meal.

Java Vegas is a small local coffee chain with a few other units scattered across Las Vegas. It offers a variety of coffees, teas, sandwiches, “delectables,” breakfast items and ice cream. Yet, despite the name, and as other thoughtful reviewers have pointed out, Java Vegas is really just Starbucks incognito. Yes, that’s right – Java Vegas is just another name for Starbucks. While I think that’s kind of deceiving, I guess I shouldn’t really complain; after all, Starbucks is pretty good and having it here kind of fits in with the Gold Coast’s loose chain restaurant theme (TGI Friday’s, Subway and Starbucks . . . errr . . . Java Vegas). But I guess we should be clear: While Starbucks is definitely on the menu, it’s just the coffee drinks and Frappuccinos – not the pastries or other food items. The food is where I suspect “Java Vegas” comes in because, well, they’re just not up to par with what one would expect of Starbucks pastries and such. The space that houses Java Vegas is pretty sparse. There’s just a handful of small tables and two flat screen TVs which, to me, look rather out of place given that Java Vegas is essentially a very small nook on the main floor of the Gold Coast casino. It is also designated as non-smoking, which is ironic because, 1) Java Vegas is on the main casino floor; 2) It’s an open space – there are no walls – and thus the heavy smoke from the casino easily wafts in and around the dining area. I can’t help but think the people who posted the “no smoking” signs laughed as they did so. In any event, when I visited Java Vegas, I picked up a Java Chip Frappuccino and a chocolate-topped croissant. The Frappuccino was very nicely done. It was creamy and smooth; it wasn’t watery, nor was it overly packed with chocolate. In many respects, it was refreshing and reinvigorating – a great way to energize. The croissant, on the other hand, left much to be desired. It was overly large and dry; the chocolate drizzle was cheap; and, it lacked that buttery flavour you get from freshly made croissants. I’d have to agree with earlier reviewers: Skip the food items because if my croissant was any indication, the rest are probably lacklustre as well. FOOD: 3/5 SERVICE: 3/5 VALUE: 3/5 RECOMMENDATION: While I wouldn’t really call this place a “pick-me-up oasis,” its fine if you’re visiting the Gold Coast and need your Starbucks fix. However, if you want food then I’d recommend going somewhere else. The pastries are stale and unremarkable. Mild recommendation. (Translated by Google) Breakfast sandwich with hot American style or latte is the best ~ the price is not expensive and it is not bad, it is recommended.

Same old Starbucks strong coffee and the donuts were average. Prices were up there as you can get free coffee in the casino. Tried it once but never went back.

Delicious, hot coffee! Great pastry selection with fruit cups if desired. Good and fast service. Cold milk and juices available. Went there every morning.
