Javier's is my favorite Mexican restaurant, period. When you get fajitas here, you'll be ruined for fajitas anywhere else. Javier's is super authentic, the food is awesome and the service is excellent. But, be sure you make a reservation, because they're always packed.
Elevated Mexican food...outstanding. Atmosphere was very loud. We had to shout. Could only talk to the person right next to you. Good food and drinks, friendly and helpful staff. Recomend going off hours and avoid weekend nites...very busy and loud, even with reservation we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated.
The food was very bland and didn't really have a taste to it, the service was ok but they were blasting the music really loud. Me and my family went and it was $257.99, over all it was a big scam and wasn't even worth the money. Should have never went. Do not recommend.

I'll go straight to the point: great service, cool atmosphere, elegant place, and on-point drinks. Unfortunately I can't say the same thing about the food. Food was ok. Definitely not what I expected for the place and the prices. The chicken poblano was not what it should be and definitely not for that price. The birria wasn't bad, but again, not what it should be for that price. It's not only the price that is over, I get it it's a chef place, but the quality of the dishes it's not what is should be and what it's expected for that kind of restaurant. The tacos dorados also was not what it should be. The place was full of people though I don't really honestly know why. Maybe most people don't really know what high Mexican authentic cuisine should be. Sorry for being this honest, nothing personal. Overall I was disenchanted.

The wait staff and ambience were wonderful, and we enjoyed the drinks as well as the chips and salsa. Unfortunately, the food itself was just mediocre. My friend even found a chicken bone in her enchilada. The manager handled the situation well and kindly comped her meal, which we appreciated.
Javier's is a great place to take anyone visiting Vegas who is looking for a fun, delicious lunch or dinner. While it is on the bit pricier side, the salsa is fantastic!

Well frequented, accomplished Mexican dishes with a lively atmosphere and very gregarious bar tenders.

Excellent drinks and service.. ambiance very cool!!!! Food is extremely overrated. Tacos dorados were not tacos dorado... it is not authentic at all... mostly done for people that have no real knowledge of authentic mexican food.
Excellent food, excellent drinks, excellent service! Highly recommend for lunch or dinner. Service was friendly and the drinks were SO good, did not feel like we were overpaying for watered down drinks. Have visited multiple times and would definitely return.
The housemade salsa is really good. It’s spicy which I don’t usually like but I found it tolerable. The pulpo ceviche was perfect. Texture, additions of avocado, red onion and cilantro was balanced. The special fish of the day was a halibut pan seared in butter garlic and was fabulous. The thick cut of halibut was seared crispy on both sides while the interior was tender. The mashed potatoes were also well prepared and flavorful and the veggie sides were al dente. Everything was seasoned well and not overdone. Not salty as others have mentioned.

On internet says it’s dog friendly restaurant
So I brought my small Pomeranian god and ordered food, asked water for god. Than waiter came she said that she can’t bring a cup with water with dog. When it’s dog friendly for your information it’s mean that every dog is allowed not only service dog like thay said. So I left.
Really? Even can’t bring cup of water for dog ???
I hope management will read this review
