Thought I would give this place a try despite some negative reviews unfortunately they were correct. I live 5 mins from this place yet I got home rice was cold very little curry goat alot of fat will not be going here again.

The girl who worked behind the counter today looks like she got hit in the face with a frying pan. Her attitude was saltier than the oxtails. But if you read the MANY 1 star reviews, you'll notice a pattern. I doubt they'll last long.

Spent 30 plus 2$ tip for food waited 1 hour and 10 minutes just for her to tell me they were working on my food next left without food or refund shit pissed me off Caz she said 20-25 minute wait

So I came in today, Literally drive 25min out my way cause the reviews seemed decent.
NASTIEST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN LIFE honestly this got to be a mom and pop shop and not going no where soon with that type of attitude
First off I came in and waited at least 10min to even have someone come up (despite seeing someone in the kitchen) finally the lady came up and saw me recording the restaurant cause I do Content , most restaurants wouldn’t care cause it’s free promotion right? But she had an issue from the moment she saw it, she said she didn’t want to be recorded fine none of my videos or pictures had her in it. /I even offered to show her that she want in it
But honestly I don’t think it’s even worth the visit the place dirty af the plantains looked old and dried df up I cannon being Caribbean and missing a little of home but instantly turned off

Worst EXPERIENCE I’ve ever had at a restaurant
Came in today Nov/21/2024 at like 3:00pm
Place was empty but the lady in the front seemed angry or something from the moment we walked in we had to wait 15min just to be greeted, if it was for seeing the cook in the kitchen k would’ve thought it was closed or abandoned. The lady in the front must have no been raised right at all cause a Dog gets more respect than how I was talked to and treated.
This restaurant does not allow you to take pictures or create content (even thought the instagram page says different) I ordered oxtail plate and brown stew chicken plate $45 I spent that I just threw in the trash. I see they hiring they definitely need to find someone who has some type of Customer service and how to treat the customers

As soon as I walked in the lady instantly had an attitude she was answering my questions as if she just wanted me to walk out the door come to find out she didn’t have any cash to give change back to people and mad because I was using a credit card. Did not take my credit card because she wanted and needed cash. I went to get cash and came back and she needed my cash to give other customers change back.. when I got home with my food the greens was not done at all like as if she didn’t on purpose because of course I treated her back the way she treated me and she gave me some greens that was not done all the way and she put extra juice sauce all over my rice it was very disgusting I will never have respect for a person like that she was black with braids . Whatever you do, don’t get a attitude back with this lady she will mess up your food
