Oxtail extremely small, got about 6 pieces, barely any meat on them and didn't taste jerked at all. will never visit again. I waz extremely hungry or I would've asked for a refund.. Don't waste your money.

Excited to get some Jamaican food while in Vegas, we found this spot. Yay! First, we didn’t feel welcomed. And we were the only customers.
Second, the food was not good at all.
Third, the prices were ridiculous for what you go.
I ordered jerk chicken with Rasta Pasta & a soda ($31) The jerk chicken was not good. It was a little smokey and that’s it.
The Rasta pasta was not good. Penne pasta with frozen vegetable medley and 2 butter beans.
Highly disappointed. Don’t waste your money.

Had an amazing experience at Jerk Dat on 12/28/25. My boyfriend and I met up with a friend. Upon arrival we had to wait to have our orders taken, but the wait was totally worth it for such delectable food. The owner recognized our friend almost immediately after helping him out on the side of the road over a year ago - talk about an elephant memory! 🐘 He treats everyone like family, and we felt right at home. Before we even ordered, he gave us samples of his homemade soup 🍲 on the house and free bottled waters. That soup? 🔥 Made with love, it hit the spot and warmed my soul. I was getting over a cold, but after tasting it, I felt like I could run a marathon. Food was delicious, and the portions were generous. I ordered curry chicken with noddles on the side as my boyfriend and our friend ordered jerk chicken with noodles on the side. Would've given 5 stars for the food, but my noodles were a bit cold- no biggie, still devoured it 😋. The real MVP is the owner, who gave us a free big container of soup to take home. I was nice and let our friend have it since he showed me this place and paid for our meal-not gonna lie was willing to fight over that soup😅. If you're looking for a place with heart, come here! Highly recommend. P.S. Owner, what's it gonna take to get those recipes? 🙏🏻

Elijah is a great host and phenomenal cook! We came in Christmas eve, and we tasted and i have to say, the food is amazing we will definitely be back real soon thank you the oxtails fell off the bone the seasoning is amazing. God bless this owner he is an amazing soul
