Try the threesome special deep fired roll. Kagyu was very friendly and super nice. Close to strip and very affordable...
Got the AYCE. Delicious food!! Kagyu was a very good host.
This place use to be me and my families favorite sushi spot. I could tell by both the food and service that it was under new management. I am on the hunt for another sushi restaurant.
Dont recommend. High expectations from good reviews. Wen looked carefully they were all older ones. Recent ones are low. So Google please take old reviews out. Misleading. Very disappointed. Food poisoning. Overrated. Recent reviews show unsanitary and food poisoning. Clean up your kitchen. Train Cooks to be clean when handling raw fish. Very unsafe to eat here. I Stay away from places with even one food poisoning reviews. This has bunch. Hire new cooks. I only read only one star reviews because those are mostly honest and not made up by friends of owners.
Recommend the surf and turf
My go to spot whenever I come to Vegas !! The price and quality are on point. The staff and food are very quick !
Criticism, not hate. We came on Sunday early-dinner before Memorial Day, maybe around 4 PM.
Food - 2 stars. Rice was FALLING APART with the slightest bit of pressure. Resorted to bare hands, still didn't help/work. When you're getting charged for left-over rice on the plate, it's very frustrating to have every grain of rice explode the moment you touch it. Sushi is about rice first, fish second. Fish was good quality, but it isn't sushi if it just falls apart. Should have made a new batch of rice. EVERY piece was like this during our trip. It wasn't an issue of wrapping/rolling tight enough. It was the rice itself.
Service - 2 Stars. Menu is over-complicated to avoid wasteful guests driving up costs. I get it, but when you need good service to overcome that. Having 1 server also being the host is bad for service at an AYCE at 4 PM (going into dinner period on a Holiday Weekend Day). Can't be helped. But also offer to explain the menu. You have like 14 terms and conditions and 3 different price structures. Been to a lot of AYCE sushi places, never seen that before. Server seemed disinterested and over-worked. We weren't being mean or rude, we were trying to be polite and nice. Also no mention of alcohol options since we spend 15 minutes trying to figure out the menu, we didn't even realize until the end they had them.
Atmosphere - 1 Star. Smell. It smelled. It smelled like semi-rotting fish. Which is surprising because the fish was great quality when you get to eat it, but very off-putting when you first walk in and it's the first smell that greets you. Maybe it was the oysters. Maybe some people like a light fish odor (this was NOT 'light'). Not sure what it is. But 'fish smell' is not appetizing in the summer heat. I've been a kitchen manager, I fish on one of the muddiest rivers in the world, I eat a lot of fish. The smell almost put me off wanting fish. Gotta do something about that.
Summary of criticism: You can have a slightly complicated menu to avoid waste or bad guest habits, but you have to make up for it with having solid guest service and a great product at the table in a comfortable place to eat.
We probably won't ever be back, mostly because it was a 24 hour drive to get to Vegas (or a 6 hour flight), but I hope this is taken constructively and not as hate. When you have fish that good at that price you could be killing it with a bit more effort in the other areas.
Amazing staff and food the all you can eat deal is amazing !

Wow I’m thoroughly impressed by so many good reviews for this very very mediocre place. I researched a lot of AYCE sushi restaurant menus and decided to come to this one because sounds like they have more no-rice rolls albeit lacking some premium items that other similar restaurants have for their main price point options.
I got the All-day menu $34.99 and first ordered all the premium items in that tier - to my disappointment, the “poke salad” “screaming orgasm” etc. that says include assorted sashimi is just spicy tuna that you get at a run of the mill sushi place.
The beef tartaki was so tough that I could barely chew it. Had to send it back.
The oyster is good but you only get one.
The spider roll that has “soft shell crab” barely has any soft shell crab, mostly imitation crab meat just like any other rolls that have “crab”. I’d say 90% of the roll is soggy rice, imitation crab, cucumber and avocado.
After these dishes I was thoroughly disappointed and complained to the manager and wanted to leave. But of course the manager argued that it’s because I didn’t order the most premium option - $44.99. I was shocked that’s even an argument….. it’s not an excuse that your All-Day menu items suck. other restaurants offer those premium items, fatty salmon, salmon karma, uni, in their regular all-day option which is $33.99 and lower.
Anyway I had to continue eating and ordered a few other items: eel, seared salmon, salmon, yellowtail, and one no-rice roll. The no-rice roll was good. Everything else was mediocre at best, far inferior even compared to Nabe’s sushi items, Nabe is not even a main sushi restaurant….
The most obvious thing is the amount of rice they try to stuff in every roll, and the bad quality of the rice, it doesn’t stick together and falls apart easily.
In conclusion I suggest you take your money to other options. Nabe premium menu &29.99 includes fatty salmon, sashimi, and far better eel and salmon. Sakana, Neko $33.99 menu includes the items here that’s in the $44.99 menu.
I’m surprised this place is even in business to be honest.

I wish I would have taken photos, I was too hungry and the food was really good. We came for the lunch all you can eat. We sat at the bar, which was convenient. Our waters were almost always refilled. We could watch the sushi being made and the food coming out was relatively quick. We did not eat the oysters.
