SIMPLY HOSPITALITY

Stopped thru as we first arrived in Vegas. Ordered the cocktails pictured and sadly the bartender didn’t think we deserved the fresh mint garnish pictured. Service was straight to the point, as a bartender of 20 years we would have stayed if it felt more inviting. We felt Eboni may have figured we weren’t great tippers as we watched the cocktail server serve mint on all of her drinks she delivered. BTW we left $10 on a $45 …

Juniper was my favorite cocktail bar in Vegas for many years but on a recent trip we found that it went through a big menu change. It is no longer a gin focused bar, as the name “Juniper” would suggest. Gin cocktails are my preferred drink and this bar had the widest variety of gin and made them the best! I’ve suggested this spot to family and friends so many times over the years, so a 3 star rating hurts me more than anything to admit to.

The staff here are phenomenal. Friendly, kind, knowledgeable, courteous! We travel to Vegas 4+ times a year and they always remember us! We have always set aside time every trip to come to Juniper and have a few cocktails and some great conversation with the bartenders.

But now as of 2025, no more gin focused cocktails, no more specialty gin on hand, no more Little Birdie, Lavender Lemonade or True to The Roots cocktails and also no more pageantry of a smoked maple bourbon cocktail (my husband’s favorite). Nothing wrong with having something classic for everybody while staying true! Just odd cocktails now like a tequila based espresso martini and a triple dirty vodka martini. Don’t get me wrong, I love a dirty vodka martini, but this was a gin forward bar and now has no gin martini on the menu at all.

On my last visit, the bartenders whipped up the best version of a bee’s knees they could muster up with the ingredients they had on hand but I couldn’t even get any gin other than Tanqueray or Hendrick’s at a spot called Juniper! RIP Death’s Door Gin, Fords and The Botanist brands!

The vibes here prior to the change over were immaculate. It was a peaceful, sophisticated but lively little haven tucked away in the middle of everything on the strip. Bartenders Diana, Robert and Jessica always were a joy to talk to and to be served by. We could really spend hours here. Now, the vibes are off and during the last visit we witnessed the surrounding clientele come in for a domestic aluminum beer bottle and to heckle other patrons and it’s hard to sit by when they don’t even serve much of their namesake anymore. Such a great gin bar before the menu shake up. I know I am just one person that loves this place but I hope I’m not alone in being disappointed in the change.

Last Saturday me and my girlfriend stepped out for a little staycation at Park MGM. We didn’t really wanna hit the club scene so we stepped inside the Juniper lounge not only is it classy in there the dim lights set a nice atmosphere but the bartenders back there are easily some of the best I’ve seen Bar none I had a bartender named Jessica her Bar banter wasn’t overwhelming. It was quite delightful. She told me that she was having a baby and she was worth every bit. Of the 20% tip that we gave her I asked her for a bees knees, and she made me something better along with her witty and corny jokes about us being a lovely couple surprising enough that’s what we had to drink, and she kept them coming I can easily say that she was nothing short of pleasant Aunt and I look forward to going back

Cool spot to chill. Servers are nice. They won't put sports on the TVs though which is kind of dumb.

$22 for a Paloma that wasn’t even made right. Waitress, Jessica, was pretty rude and couldn’t be bothered. She let us know if we wanted something better we could go somewhere else. Idk, but what a WEIRD way to serve someone.

Waited forever for a spicy margarita that was over $20! Not even a double.

Servers are great, cocktails were mid, but most importantly they will refuse to serve tap water under any circumstances. But house brand bottled water is available for a fee.

I was pleasantly impressed with the atmosphere on a Friday night. Not too crowded, easily found comfortable seating, nice atmosphere and vibe, think low key chic 70s lounge. The DJ was great at playing fan favs and keeping the energy at about an 8, which was perfect for the specific venue. I recommend for a nice drink before it after dinner.

Date night with the wife, our wedding anniversary. Anyway, we came in, had a seat, and ordered our drinks. My wife got the Greek Martini, it came, nothing like the description. We were then asked by the server if we were ok? We said yes, she took our drink menu and gave it to the people that just sat down. This pissed my wife off so bad that we finished our drinks and left. Not as good as it used to be.

Service was decent, and it wasn't too busy. I did find it funny that we were charged $4 for a baby bottle of water. Vegas prices for drinks -$24+.
