This is a good place to visit if you were craving seafood during your stay at Red Rock. I have seen times where this place can get busy, but I rarely see it too full.
I’ve had this place before for their pan roast, which at the time was somewhat decent. But my current review is more leaning towards the specials as it was pretty surprising to me. We came here on a Tuesday and ate the oysters which were $1 a piece. They were really good and tasted fresh. Also looking at the other specials would be the main reason why I’d be coming here throughout the weekend.
The real surprise was when I asked them about their specials. Which ended up being two lobster rolls for $18. The lobster rolls were really good and really fresh. I’m not sure if the secret menu changes every day but I was pretty surprised by this.
Being that we came here on a weekday, the place was pretty quiet. There were probably only 2-3 staff members there and we were the only customers. Based on just the specials alone, I would highly suggest giving this place a try.
Loved it definitely worth checking out
***FOOD BORNE ILLNESS***
Our group of 6 visited on 05.04.25 around noon & only I had the raw oysters. We stayed at the casino that afternoon to gamble. Within 2 hours, I was vomiting & could not get out of the bathroom. Our uber ride was 30 mins, I was unable to make that trip without getting sick. Las Vegas had 5 other persons report the same illness. There are no fresh oysters in Vegas. The seafood is frozen & purchased from South Korea.
Visited Red Rock Oyster Bar on April 1st and had an incredibly disappointing experience. While the oysters were good, the rest of the night was a disaster. Service was painfully slow—after placing our order, we waited 45 minutes with no updates. The house gumbo was so salty it was completely inedible, and when we politely sent it back, the chef responded with attitude and dismissiveness, essentially telling us, “We can’t help you.”
To make matters worse, our server, who was standing right in front of us for most of the time, never once checked in. When we asked for the bill, it felt like we had to beg just to pay and leave. We were seated at 8 PM and left totally frustrated.
Unacceptable experience—will not be returning. Spent $94 on an abysmal experience.
Phenomenal lunch spot!!! The guys behind the Cold Bar are great, the food is spectacular!
Awesome staff and service. YUMMY oysters and Bouillabaise. We loved the food. The atmosphere at the bar was a little hustly bustly for us, but the friendliness of our server certainly made up for it, as did the FOOD. Definitely recommend if you are staying at Red Rock... especially if you're on business and can expense it. Things are steep around here ; )
Dollar oysters can’t beat it
*** FOOD POISONING ***
Was here for a work conference and only ate on site at red rocks convention. Got food poisoning exactly 24 hours after visiting this oyster bar, so this was the clear culprit - called to report and the managers only duty was to deny. Claimed they’d open an investigation but I don’t expect any findings.
Wouldn’t even refund the meal, which is the least they could do. I even ordered the chefs choice/higher tier oysters, but it could have been the lobster roll special for $10. DO NOT RISK IT, you’ve got better odds on the casino floor.
This is a great little counter service oyster bar with amazing stews and Cajun dishes. We go out of our way to eat here every visit.
We live in the Centennial Hills area and hate driving to the strip for a good meal. Since Red Rock is so conveniently located, we decided to try their oyster bar and it did not disappoint. The oysters were tastefully succulent, larger than usual, and exceptionally delightful. I ordered their bouillabaisse and my wife had home style gumbo. Both were expertly prepared and thoroughly enjoyable. We were particularly impressed with the professional and proficient service we received. The staff was exceedingly courteous and welcoming as well. Kudos to the manager on duty, Jerry, who engaged us in pleasant and entertaining conversation while attending to other patrons in a similar manner.
Overall, the Red Rock Oyster Bar is most deserving of this five star review and highly recommended to anyone seeking great seafood and exceptional service. Oh, by the way, when I mentioned it was my wife's birthday, they surprised her with a little birthday cake, complete with a lighted candle on top. That's service!!!

Absolutely phenomenal - I would highly recommend Red Rock Oyster Bar to satisfy your oyster and seafood craving! The service here was efficient and friendly; even though there can be a queue to sit at the bar it moves quickly. Everything was packed with flavor and freshness.
