What an unbelievable experience! The fish is so fresh and the A5 Wagyu melted in our mouths. This is my favorite Las Vegas and it’s not even close.

THE BEST OMAKASE AND JAPANESE RESTAURANT IN LAS VEGAS ??❤️??❤️??❤️❤️

Phu Phan

There are 2 menus at the time i was there ($350 and $500). I chose $350 and the quality of food was not line up with the price, it was good but not that expensive. Some Japanese restaurants in town with more affordable price and quality such as Kabuto, Kaiseki Sanga, Yuzu are better.

Food is not worth the money. Fish isnt fresh. Precut in pieces and covered with paper towels.

Let me be clear, you cant have a korean owner running a japanese omakase restaurant. Its like a japanese guy cannot run a korean food restaurant. Spent $3000 for 3 including drinks. Not worth it.

Called to ask about sushi and how it works the woman that answered told me that something started at 8 pm I told her I didn’t understand what she meant by that and she said I should be nicer on the phone next time I called and hung up on me then never answered another phone call from me.

She also blocked my phone number.

Let’s start with the bad, as there’s precious little of it: First, at $500pp for the signature menu, this is easily the most expensive omakase experience we’ve had ($250-350 is a little more standard). I’ve heard scoffs from fellow Japanese cuisine enthusiasts, but I would and will shell out to sit at Kame’s counter again. (Important to note there is also a $350 menu option at present.) Secondly, no sake pairings. Honestly fine, our waitress gave amazing bottle recommendations and we heartily enjoyed both. I would’ve loved an elevated pairing, but I was not at all disappointed (rather the opposite) by our drinks. Lastly, I do think the reservation system is a bit archaic and could be improved, but I do also appreciate how much more intimate it feels to actually call for reservations instead of using all these apps.

Okay on to the good: All of it. There wasn’t a single dish that left my pallet wanting. And can we talk about the uni? Honestly I’ve been pretty turned off on uni lately as it just seems like it’s checking a box at most fine dining restaurants to make sure we’ve got something luxurious on our plate. It’s overdone and approaching tired. That being said, I think I ate more uni in one sitting than I’ve ever had before at Kame and it was WONDERFUL. Guys I still love uni, I just don’t love the way most fine dining is plating it. Every presentation at Kame was different from the last - thoughtful and elegant, playing on all elements of the dish without overpowering the dish. There was a lot of uni, but also exactly the right amount of uni. The chef even gave us an extra uni roll to identify the differences in each type. And the uni pasta? Yeah that would be my last meal if I had the option.

All the fish just melted in your mouth. Perfect sashimi. Amazing nigiri. First time trying jelly fish and while my husband was a little off put by the crunch, I could’ve eaten several servings. The kaiseki tray was an unexpected treat - the tempura corn is going to live in my memory forever.

Overall: Absolutely blown away. Incredible service. Incredible, passionate chefs. High quality ingredients. Easily the best of many omakase experiences we’ve had the pleasure of enjoying.

The Omakase experience is excellent, and worth trying. The $500 price is high. The reservation process is draconian, a little pushy.

Five stars simply aren’t enough to encapsulate the extraordinary experience we had at Kame Omakase. From the moment I stepped into the intimate dining space, I was transported to a world of culinary excellence and unparalleled hospitality.

The attentive and friendly service was exceptional, although one server did seem a bit eager to clear plates at times. However, this minor hiccup was overshadowed by the overall warmth and knowledge displayed by the chefs and the staff members. Their detailed explanations of each dish added a layer of depth to the dining experience.

The restaurant itself is a masterpiece. The intimate setting with just a few other guests created a cozy atmosphere, perfect for engaging conversations with talented chefs. Their passion for their craft was evident in every interaction, as they shared fascinating insights into the ingredients and preparation of each dish.

While the price point is undoubtedly high, it's justified by the sheer quality and artistry of the food. Every bite was a symphony of flavors, textures, and visual appeal. From the exquisite sashimi to the melt-in-your-mouth A5 wagyu, each course was a culinary masterpiece.

Kame Omakase offers two seatings per night, ensuring an exclusive and personalized experience. Our journey began with a velvety smooth chawan mushi, a perfect prelude to the gastronomic adventure that followed.

The sashimi course was a breathtaking display of freshness and artistry. The live lobster was tender and sweet, while the toro melted effortlessly on the palate. Each piece was generously cut and showcased the chef's impeccable knife skills.

The appetizers were a delightful progression of flavors. The oyster was plump and briny, the A5 Wagyu Shigureni was a heavenly combination of textures, and the Kaki Age was a crispy delight. The corn tempura was a surprising highlight, with the sweetness of the corn perfectly balanced by the light batter.

The katsuo tataki was a flavor explosion, with the seared tuna's rich taste complemented by the accompanying ponzu sauce. The sazae, while visually intimidating, was a culinary revelation. The sawagani crab added a unique and delicious element to the dish, challenging my preconceptions about seafood.

The sushi course was nothing short of extraordinary. Each piece was a delicate balance of rice and fish, showcasing the chef's mastery of technique. The Hokkaido uni was particularly memorable, with its creamy texture and rich flavor.

The softshell crab was a crispy and savory delight, while the A5 wagyu ishiyaki was a tender and juicy masterpiece. The addition of black truffle elevated the dish to new heights.

The dessert was the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal. The winter melon was refreshing and light, and the hojicha ice cream was a delightful complement.

Kame Omakase is truly a remarkable experience. It's a place where food becomes art and where every bite is a memory in the making.

Incredible Omakase experience at Kame. This has to be the best one in Las Vegas.
We had the $350 menu which was more than enough.

Our waitress was kind and standing by at all times. She would fold our napkin if we went to the restroom, and pull our chair for us when coming back.

The chef was friendly and knowledgeable and made everything in front of us!

I had my first oyster and uni and loved it all.
