There are 2 menus at the time i was there ($350 and $500). I chose $350 and the quality of food was not line up with the price, it was good but not that expensive. Some Japanese restaurants in town with more affordable price and quality such as Kabuto, Kaiseki Sanga, Yuzu are better.
Let’s start with the bad, as there’s precious little of it: First, at $500pp for the signature menu, this is easily the most expensive omakase experience we’ve had ($250-350 is a little more standard). I’ve heard scoffs from fellow Japanese cuisine enthusiasts, but I would and will shell out to sit at Kame’s counter again. (Important to note there is also a $350 menu option at present.) Secondly, no sake pairings. Honestly fine, our waitress gave amazing bottle recommendations...
Five stars simply aren’t enough to encapsulate the extraordinary experience we had at Kame Omakase. From the moment I stepped into the intimate dining space, I was transported to a world of culinary excellence and unparalleled hospitality.
