We dine at KJ Dim Sum a week ago and found the food was pretty good. We had the sizzling beef and kung pao chicken and both dishes were delicious. The restaurant was a good size with a lot of tables so we didn’t wait long. The staff were good with food coming out at a decent time. We were starving so we were very happy that we didn’t have to wait to get seated and the food came out fairly quick.
We went for the dumplings however dumplings were only made in the morning. They sold us half-price dumplings leftover from lunch.. they weren't terrible. And we're okay for half price. The service was good the staff was really nice. Because we didn't understand the menu and what things were she brought out a tray to show us what we were ordering and explained each item.
This place is an absolute treasure for any dim sum lover! It's incredibly rare these days to find a restaurant that still serves dim sum the traditional way—piping hot from rolling carts.
Every dish we tried was fresh and flavorful. The staff were friendly and attentive, happy to explain any dish we weren't familiar with. And the pace was perfect—we never felt rushed, but the carts kept coming with new and exciting choices.
