We just flew back into town and decided to try La Barbacoa located close to the airport. We had seen posts about it on different social media and had to see for ourselves if it lived up to the hype. Finally checked this place out after seeing it all over tiktok. First off, the service was excellent. There was only one waitress working at the time. There weren't many people dining so that was understandable but she was very friendly and attentive for being by herself.She brought out complementary chips and salsa. They were obviously house made. Burris de chivo. Literally the best Burris in town! Actually authentic! I’m from Guadalajara Jalisco and let me tell you I felt like I was home. The own is from Mexico and she is the ONLY one who cooks the birria and barbacoa!! Do NOT let the plaza fool you walk in order the birria thank me later ♥️
