Husband and I had the pleasure of visiting and dining here again after stumbling across this gem last year while visiting Vegas for work. The atmosphere makes you feel relaxed as if you were truly in a village somewhere in Mexico. Drinks are superb and so smooth. Their salsa is to die for and best we have ever had. My husband rarely enjoys Mexican as it's hard to find good locations for true Mexican. But he loves this place so much that going again is a joy for him

I was blown away by the overall experience and chance to say hello to Chef Isidro.
Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Mexican fine-dining.
FYI: it's a 2min walk from Fremont Experience.

Definitely recommend La Mona Rosa for some quality Mexican cuisine! The queso fundido is SO good! The Enchiladas Suizas are also an excellent option for a flavorful dish that’s not too heavy! I don’t think there’s any way to go wrong here, as everything I’ve had has been awesome! I would recommend a visit if you’re looking for a great experience off the strip.

This was our first time at La Mona Rosa and we loved every bit of it. Every dish and drink was delicious. Our server Misty was amazing and kind, she answered every question we had and offered great suggestions. We will definitely be back and recommend to our friends and family. Please try the pozole rojo, it’s too die for and the regular horchata is the best I’ve had in town.

Can’t wait to go back. The food was on another level. Great food in a great location. Also the dj that day really impressed our group.

I really wanted to give this restaurant five stars but there were just a few things that kept me from that perfect rating. First, the service is okay. Mostly attentive but I had to request a few too many things that should’ve been addressed, and mostly are at other restaurants. We ordered the guacamole with chips as an appetizer, and that was some amazing guac. Super fresh. Really enjoyed that. I ordered the beef birria tacos and they really fell flat as far as flavor goes. Ingredients seemed very fresh just there was really no flavor. The side of rice and beans were on point. Very good. The table we were sat at was extremely wobbly (see video). It wasn’t until the end of our meal that I saw what was supposed to be stabilizing the table, a Mickey Mouse vinyl tag. The restaurant as a whole is very clean and presents well. The small things I didn’t like wouldn’t keep me from returning. We’ll be back I’m sure.

We had the tuna reviche that was interesting and tasty. Then - the baja fish taco and the the chef signature shrimps which were very well prepared and with unusual flavors. Service was pleasant, fast efficient and welcoming.

If I could give more stars for service, I absolutely would! I have a medical condition and therefore have a special diet. Our server, Luciana, was so thorough, taking several trips to the kitchen to investigate ingredients. I was grateful for her exceptional service! And the food was excellent. I definitely recommend!
