I regret to say that my recent experience at La Playita was quite disappointing, primarily due to the abysmal service. Our waitress seemed disinterested and failed to tend to our needs throughout the evening. To make matters worse, our appetizer arrived at the same time as our main meal, leaving us feeling rushed and unable to fully enjoy our dining experience. The food was mid , I ordered the fried red snapper dinner, and if it weren’t for the bowl of lime next to me, the meal would have been disastrous. As if that weren't enough, at the end of the meal, the waitress took back the mint she had initially given me, which left a sour taste in my mouth figuratively and literally. Overall, the poor service overshadowed any potential enjoyment we could have had at La Playitas, and I cannot in good conscience recommend it to others.Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair access

The food is authentic and the restaurant is very clean, even the restrooms. Best campechana cocktail I’ve tasted in Vegas. The octopus and shrimp were very clean. It tasted very fresh. The last time we went in the service was not the greatest. The waitress seemed to be in a rush and wasn’t very approachable. We had questions about some dishes and she just referred us back to the menu. To top it off, we realized that they charge gratuity. I was furious because there was only 4 of us in our party. The food was tasty like always but the service was not great. Most places charge gratuity for large parties which is understandable. Also, most restaurants will tell you before hand that the tip is already included and they didn’t. The waitress was tentative but she should also focus on her tone of voice and customer service. If we do go back, it’ll be for takeout.
