Lamoon is definitely one of those sleeper restaurants. It's in the same plaza as a 7/11 and looks pretty underwhelming. But once you enter it you're brought into a whole different world. The decor and the seating is all very unique in itself and makes it quite the experience. They've changed their hours to opening later in the night and I feel like it was a great choice, especially since there's not too many options of great Thai food at night. I also haven't ever been here when it gets busy so it's a good choice if you want to avoid long waits.
Food wise you can't go wrong but the main thing's I'd always get here is the Golden Cup and Drunken Noodles with Crispy Prawn. The Golden Cup is like a larb that uses raw sushi which is truly unique and I can only find it at this location. The Drunken Noodles are also really good especially with the prawn. Eventually I'd like to try it with the soft shell crab, but that'll have to wait.
Other notable items would be getting the boat noodle and Bangkok sashimi. If you never had boat noodle, it's similar to pho (hopefully you've had that), but it has a deeper flavor to it that I can't explain.
They also have a good selection of sake and wine for pairing with the food you choose. But for sure I'd suggest getting a Singha to pair with your food.
Parking: This place pretty much has it's own parking lot so you should be good, unless it happens to get really busy

Is now my go to place . It's open till 2 am.
I take my laptop, do some work, have a glass of wine and the panang curry is just amazing!..
So far I've tried:
Fresh oysters ( loved it with the Thai sauce)
Salmon sashimi (very good and refreshing)
Shrimp panang curry with white rice (MY FAVE)
Its a cute little place, nice and cozy ang the music they play is just perfect. Well for me it is. Lol..it has a nice intimate vibe to it and they have a big selection of wine and offer great classic cocktails.

The food is as close as you can get to Thailand. Their pad Thai doesn’t have the weird food coloring. The portion is good, and not the overwhelming kind. Price is reasonable. I recommend the Panang curry with soft shell crab.

The papaya salad was a hit and everything else I ate was so satisfying! Kind and attentive service and charming ambiance. Still dreaming about the egg yolk ice cream. Excited to return to try other dishes.

Ordered take away - portion sizes a joke and tasted like it was microwaved despite being one of the most expensive main courses.

It's a really unique restaurant. Something like French decor but old inside. I really enjoyed the vegetable Penang curry. My friends' food did not look as good though so it could be a hit or miss. Plenty of parking outside. Insanely huge wine list, like an entire book. It's quirky. Right? But wine makes me tired. I'm tired now as I write this. LOL. So I got a dark beer instead and it was really good.

I can only say good things about this place. Atmosphere is a vibe. The Tiger Steak melts right in your mouth and the catfish mango salad has a fun flavorful umami in every bite. Wonderful staff and hospitality too! We will be recommending this place to everyone we know who visits

The food was low quality. It was oily. You do not get rice with your entrees. Very small portions with hardly no meat. My panang was all sauce with 6 small pieces of chicken and nothing else.

The best food we have had in a long time. Delightful cocktail, the perfect tempura mushrooms, and phenomanal pad Thai. Such an enjoyable experience and treat!

Not happy about the experience! We went there for Christmas Eve dinner… the place is small and cozy! We were 4 and ordered grilled prawns (not special) 2 fried rice and 2 pad Thai, but one was not good, its smell was off! We sent back that pad Thai and ordered other 2 fried rice. We had a bottle of wine and 2 wine glasses… we were a nice party of 4!We got extremely upset when we asked for the bill and noticed that they did not take off the pad Thai that we sent back because it was not good, we had to discuss with the waitress because of it… the chef said that the dish was extremely fine! But it’s to the customer to say it! At the end they took off the dish but the total $ was not corresponding to the overall sum of the dishes, it was higher! Didn’t like the situation at all, we paid and left a good tip but definitely not returning!
