Lamoon is definitely one of those sleeper restaurants. It's in the same plaza as a 7/11 and looks pretty underwhelming. But once you enter it you're brought into a whole different world. The decor and the seating is all very unique in itself and makes it quite the experience. Is now my go to place . It's open till 2 am.
I take my laptop, do some work, have a glass of wine and the panang curry is just amazing!..
So far I've tried:
Fresh oysters ( loved it with the Thai sauce)
Salmon sashimi (very good and refreshing)
Shrimp panang curry with white rice (MY FAVE)

The food is as close as you can get to Thailand. Their pad Thai doesn’t have the weird food coloring. The portion is good, and not the overwhelming kind. Price is reasonable. I recommend the Panang curry with soft shell crab.
