I ordered pick up and had my husband pick it up. When my husband came back with the food my son was missing his mac and cheese. My husband went back for it and it took about 15 mins to get the mac and cheese. Just a sorry is not a way to make right for how long he waited. Absolutely ridiculous. Horrible HORRIBLE service.
The food is sooooo good here. Am not very much into this kind of food but it taste homemade and comfy. I have been here about 5 times already and the service is hit or miss though.

Love backbeat diner, food is always perfect across all locations and this trip was no exception. Service was exceptional. My waiter was a 30 year vet.

Truly the best neighborhood diner, Denny’s and IHop could never! There are a few Black Bear Diners in the area but this location is the best. The staff is always accommodating, kind, and so attentive to kids. Luisa is an absolute gem of a person and the reason my sons had us go three times in a row. She allowed him to order his food and was so patient with him and his brother. She was very engaging and made them feel included, that’s what makes this place so different from anywhere else they’ve been. Thank you Luisa and thank you Black Bear Diner for an awesome dining experience.

I ordered taco salad. Never again! Meat was dry. Little bit of canned beans were spread on bottom. Pretty bland too.
Also, disappointed, hey no longer serve tuna melt. Well, I need to find a new place for tuna melt.
