Some of the slowest service I've ever had. Our waitress often forgot drinks. Our food took around 30 minutes to finish and our waitress forgot items. The food was fine but being on a plant based diet my only options were salad and fries, more options would be nice.

This diner is honestly one of the best that I've visited in a long time. I love that it's outdoor bear themed and the butter milk pancakes are incredible, so fluffy and delicious. The grits are good and overall service is great. Highly recommend stopping here for breakfast or lunch!

Black bear diner was delicious. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly. Kandy took care of us and she was very attentive and helpful.

Here 6:45pm on 4/21. Fat-bottomed waitress with a tiny hair bun atop her head sauntered up to our table and took our drink order. She then proceeded to clean up and set a 6 person table and then a 4 person table at a snail’s pace without giving us our drinks or taking our food order. After waiting over 10 minutes feeling ignored we walked out and hit the road. Let me know when this waitress no longer works here and we’ll happily return!!

My husband and I had breakfast there this morning and it was great! Food was delicious and the service was excellent! I had a vegetarian omelet filled with lots of veggies, the red potatoes were great and the biscuit was larger than a fist! Husband had the “Griz” and loved every bite! Our waitress was very attentive and fast. Definitely a go to spot!

Placed an UberEATS order for a California omelette. Called the restaurant to add hot sauce to my order, and had the worst customer service. She said no. The omelette itself was supposed to have bacon and if it does I can't tell, hash browns are undercooked and crunch like raw potato. Severely disappointed with this place. Maybe go to a different location.

Went in for lunch with my aunt. Had the pot roast. It was so good.The meals here are like comfort food. But you do get big portions, so come hungry.Waitress was so friendly and didn't mind that my aunt and I took more time cause we were catching up with each other.

The plates of each dinner is big enough for two adults and so delicious flavor. I love the hot cornbread and for desserts they have the classic apple, cherry, banana , lime and coconut pie. But the favorite of my family is the carrot cake. My son like the big black bears in the decor, we feel like family.
Went with my family and boyfriend and the staff is always so sweet! And food is always delicious!
