I recommend the ice coffee is strong and sweet. I love getting the chicken egg rolls when they are fresh. A great place of lunch and affordable.

Even though the interior is a bit dated and could use some improvements, there’s a familiarity and comfort that this place provides. The variations of banh mi is good with breakfast options included and a few other sandwich options. The service has been steady even coming here years later. It’s great for a grab-and-go before your trip back home or an easy reliable bite.

Excellent banh mi, $8.95, about as long as my forearm. Bread is very crunchy and flakey, freshly made.

I don’t know what Lee’s secret is, but they never run out of bread.

Grilled pork bánh mì is my go-to, and no one does it quite like Lee’s Sandwiches in Chinatown. This place has been a staple for as long as I can remember, serving up consistently solid sandwiches with zero fuss. The grilled pork is flavorful, slightly sweet, and perfectly charred — tucked into a crisp 10” French baguette with crunchy pickled vegetables, fresh cilantro, and just the right kick of jalapeño. It’s everything you want in a bánh mì.

Service is fast, prices are more than reasonable, and the food always hits the spot. Don’t come here expecting ambiance — it’s all about the food and speed. That said, the parking lot is famously terrible. Tight spots, chaotic exits — it’s Las Vegas parking at its worst. But there’s free parking, and that counts for something.

If you want a no-frills, quick, and tasty bánh mì, Lee’s is still the local go-to.

Food ordered:
3 - #5 Grilled Pork Sandwiches,
3 - Mango smoothies,
1 - Strawberry smoothie,
2 - chocolate chip cookie,
2 - bags of chips
Total Cost : $55

Sandwiches were 5/10, Smoothies 7/10, Cookies 5/10. Not going to rate chips.

Not sure what was going on with the service. I walked into the establishment with a party of 5. There were 4 workers standing in the back area where we could visibly see them staring at us. I stood & waited for 15 minutes before one of the workers came to take our order. I tried to order & the woman spoke no English. So she pointed bk to the other pregnant lady 🤰. The pregnant worker took our order. I asked for Pate chaude but she looked to the warming area & said they were out. Then asked for egg rolls which she replied the exact same way. SMH 🤦🏽 That Lee's Shop is open 24hr, so you can imagine my frustration learning that they have the food I was asking for but didn't want to make it. There were also about 3 kids, obviously kids of the workers, horse playing around the restaurant. One of the children ran behind the counter playing/ messing with stuff under the counter. The kids began yelling over each other and throwing random things throughout the restaurant. I have kids too so I understand but that's not very professional. Especially when your just trying to enjoy a nice dinner. Overall experience was a 5/10. I believe that's a fair rate despite my frustration.
