Service was fine, drinks were fine. Food was less than desirable. The meat was dry for the tacos and portions were finger food size. The food was extremely over priced for the quality. Would not recommend to any one.

First visit tonight. We will return. Shy at the bar was absolutely lovely- she gave great food recommendations, super chill yet attentive and positive demeanor- refreshed by this (rare so many places)! We generally go all the way to Javier's at Aria for upscale Mex.....make no mistake this isn't your standard rice/beans & a pile of stuff on your plate & a crap marg that most places serve (which, oddly, i also sometimes enjoy!) I really want this restaurant to work in Redrock. So first off, me and my buddy were walking by toward the Sportsbook and the hostess (Aquila, I asked :), saw us looking at the LED menu out front. She went out of her way to hand us menus and happy hour menus which started in a few minutes. NOBODY in this town does that. We were going to go eat oysters And she pulled us in. Great job Aquila. Then, food was great!! Tacos super flavorful, apps were awesome, margaritas fantastic! Edgar told me no sour mix which is great. Lime, tequila, Cointreau, agave in the house margaritas? Hell yea. Btw Edgar was F-ing awesome. This place needs to stay!!! Only constructive criticism, Caesar had great crisp, quality lettuce, but that dressing wayyy too acidic. Maybe some more anchovies too :)))) thanks guys great experience.

Came in for lunch on a Tuesday. Made a reservation cause you never know but it was pretty empty. We were seated right away. The interior is beautiful. Feels very tropical and outdoorsy. Our server was Sam and she was great. Very friendly and on top of things. I ordered a Little lion which is mezcal with fruit juices and it was awesome. I could drink a lot of those! We ordered Guacamole to go along with the required chips and salsa. Our chips seemed to be a little stale but Sam replaced them quickly and we dug into the 2 salsa (red and green) and the guacamole. It was all very good. Guac was fresh and very tasty I had the sweet potato taco which comes with rice and beans and I ordered a side of street corn. Sam asked if I was vegan and I said no, she explained the beans had some meat in them. Way to look out! I just really like sweet potatoes and wanted to try something different. The tacos were amazing, sweet potato diced up and cooked with brown butter and a hint of cinnamon coming through. Not something I would usually order but was feeling adventurous. Rice was good, light not clumpy like a lot of Mexican places where it seems the rice has been on for a week. Beans were great, not refried but like a stew with a smoky flavor. Really delicious. Street corn was excellent, off the cob and very tasty. Some places make it a little tangy or heavy on the lime but it was sweet here and that's how I like it. I just can't wrap my arms around this place. We came back a 5th time and I am still underwhelmed by the food. The Guacamole tasted pre-made, watery and not fresh. The cauliflower side came out soggy and greasy but both came out quick like they were already up there ready to run. Are they not making anything fresh? Guacamole came before chips and salsa just bizarre. Salsa has changed since opening. The Chicken Tinga tacos are boring with no taste, no moisture, no cilantro no fixings. Just underwhelming at best. The crispy carnitas tacos were dripping with grease at least those were moist, but grease? Now I hear they are bringing in a thumpy DJ. I guess if you have terrible food you make a place into a night club! Too old for Red Rocks new wave F&B with bass beat music. Guess the locals don't matter anymore.
We had a wonderful evening out. The drinks are top notch! The watermelon tostadas are a must try! Seriously they were so surprising. Full of flavor and the watermelon took on the texture of tuna. Service was impeccable. A must try place to eat, we will be back again!

We had to wait 15 minutes to be seated even with a reservation and a half empty restaurant. It took 40 minutes to get our refreshments. The food was average at best and the kicker was how expensive everything was. Never again.

We ate here 2 days in a row as locals. The guacamole is amazing! The Steak Picado on the lunch menu is fantastic. For dinner the 2nd day my husband and I shared the Rib-Eye... WOW! Then we took the bones home to our doggies, they also approved ;) The restaurant decor is beautiful, great vibe, and pretty awesome sound system. Both lunch and dinner wait staff and management were super attentive, friendly, and impressive customer service. I appreciate menu suggestions with the intent to upsell but not pushy. This will be an easy go-to for us when we want to treat ourselves to a quality meal and beautiful atmosphere.
No reason to eat here again. Overpriced modern Mexican food... that was not remarkable in any way. Had a variety of tacos and guacamole... ranks very close to the bottom of any I've ever had.

Thanks to Ian Cordero and wait staff our experience was top notch. The food: the salmon dinner and the shrimp dinner were on pair to any five star restaurant in any resort hotel downtown. The salmon was fresh, like we are use to having while living in the Pacific Northwest. We expect to mark this establishment as one worth frequenting. Ps thank you for the birthday dessert.
