I’m writing to express my frustration and concern regarding the experience I had today with my pickup order.
I ordered a plain bagel with lox and fruit. The receipt was correct, but when I returned to my office and opened the bag, I found a sesame seed bagel and fries. I have a sesame allergy, so this mistake could have made me seriously sick had I not noticed it in time.
I went back to the restaurant to address the issue, and the manager/owner informed me—only after the fact—that you were out of plain bagels and fruit. No one attempted to call me, offer an alternative, or process a refund. Instead, a completely different order was put in my bag without any communication.
When I requested a refund, I was told to get back in line. Then, after some back-and-forth, a “plain bagel” was suddenly located in the back, and I waited another 10 minutes for it to be toasted. Despite the inconvenience and the allergy risk, I was still sent away with fries I never ordered, and no refund or compensation was offered.
The entire interaction was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. This experience was unacceptable, and I want to be clear that neither I nor my company will be ordering from Café Leone again.
I hope you take this feedback seriously, as this could have resulted in a serious health emergency.

This place used to be good not anymore. Maybe there’s been a change of ownership? The food was poor quality, pastries were bad, the coffee was cold. My brother got a steak asked for medium rare and it was well. He sent it back TWICE they still couldn’t cook a steak. Pretty embarrassing for them. We won’t be returning. It’s a shame used to love this place
My steak salad was amazing. The panini was great too. The tiramisu was okay. I loved the vibe with live saxophone performance by Dana Frank Garrett. It was very romantic in the rainy evening. The service was great too.

Ordered hot tea. Waiting outside 1/2 hour . Nothing . Call to find out . They said could not find me !? But order number displayed on my table . Waiting again . Finally guy brings my tea with honey and lemon . No apologies . No problem. I said Thank you . In return nothing .
No welcome or thank you or anything .
One thing if somebody was not paying attention and did not see my number . But
No apology or not even respond with you welcome after I thanks person ?!
Rude , very rude.
The owner should explain people that work there about basic social interactions and politeness . You get better service at hotdog
Stand.

Food is very questionable, Turkey bacon was inedible and the steak was well done when it was supposed to be medium rare.
Vibes and service are good though

The ownership changed and it wasn't as good for a while, but it's now very well managed. Prices are very reasonable and there's a great selection of food and drinks. This has been a popular local hangout.

Probably the worst restaurant experience I've had in a long time. The food was absolutely sub-par. Service was slow...and this is not because of the servers...it's because of the establishment's organization. Servers need to go find whatever number you're given in 3 different sections, 1 inside and 2 on different street fronts which ultimately affects the quality of service.
The kitchen is understandably overworked in busy times considering the number of tables it serves at any given time, but our food was less than underwhelming. The bagels and breakfast muffins were toasted as hard as stone; the tuna salad sandwiches were awful, and standard menu ingredients were left off the orders. The presentation is also lacking. Oh, and we waited 15mins for 1 freshly squeezed orange juice, which came from a store-bought juice box.
We will not recommend this place to anyone. STAY AWAY.

45 minutes wait for an omlette. Incomplete orders, bread arriving after you're finished with your meal. Countless people complaining about the same thing. What once was a great place, was bought by new owners who are cutting corners, understaff, and try to maximize profits with overinflated prices, betting on location only. Another business ruined.
