We've been customers of Lola's since they opened up the original restaurant downtown. Nothing will match the atmosphere and charm of the original location but the food has always been so great we've continued to come even if we have to make the trek across town. Food is still delicious. Last night however we had the most inattentive server I've ever had at Lola's it was disappointing in an otherwise great evening. She wasn't rude or anything like that just absent and acted checked out. Restaurant was not even that busy yet since our reservation was early. We ordered bread she didn't bring it & never came back to check either. We did get the food runner to bring us some but after our meal was 1/2 done. Service just not up to Lola's standards.

I had one of the best times here the food was absolutely delicious the service was absolutely perfect atmosphere awesome and the best part about my night is that the chef Mr Carlos came to our table to ask this how our meal was that was the highlight of the evening I've never had a chef come to my table to ask me how was my meal I will definitely be going back again and again and again 10 Stars for me .😀❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Food was OK. Being on DDD, I honestly was hoping for a bit more. The fried okra serving was big and pretty good. Crab cake app were small. Loaded Gumbo was good. The Roast Beef "D'Brees" was a bit of a let down. Definitely not the same as Guy had on his show. Bananas Foster Pudding is recommended.

The atmosphere is great. Live piano. The cajun food was great! Each dish has its own flavors. I can't remember the name is the dish, but the best bang for your buck was a dish that had the crab cake, catfish, a third item, and two sides. The greens were excellent! I just didn't like that my fried catfish still had the skin on it. Another catfish dish had the skin on it as well. Also, we had 1 server working all the tables on our side and also cooking some of the bread for one table. So, he forgot our refills and got them wrong. But the chef and workers were nice and fully understood their customers, especially dishes for children. I would dine here again.
