Ubered over from the strip and they were closed and it was after noon and no one was answering the phone. Waste of money to get there for nothing.

Soul food ? This place is terrible and needs to be shut down. First off all the food taste like it was cooked in old grease, dressing was horrible crumbled cornbread with gravy mac an cheese was hard, they take your whole card inside close the door lock it then bring it back to u, cant see inside this place kitchen is probably filthy. I paid $52 an this was a complete waste of money and a disappointment. NEVER AGAIN

In December 2023, I paid $70 for food that was contaminated with multiple hairs. I was denied a refund. I was offered another item or the same item. I refused the offer. The windows are blacked out and customer(s) can’t see into or enter the restaurant. These are red flag warnings to not trust that the restaurant is clean and has earned an “A” Grade from the health department.

Here on vaca in Las Vegas. We took an Uber to Mississippi Mary’s to have soul food when we got here the hours of operation are 12 to 5 daily or until sold out but it’s carry out only that is not specified on the website. Coming from out of town and doing an Uber to get here to find out that they are not open seven days a week, no one answered the door. No one answered the phone. Ridiculous!

I am chiming in on M and M. This use to be a great spot. I would go here and get a table full of food—fried chicken, smothered chicken, cornbread flat like pancakes, oxtails, yams — table full of food. And then could barely walk to catch the Deuce (bus). Celebrities would go here. However, after COVID they could not bounce back. I experienced the calllling and calling and pick up orders not up to par. ?

60 dollars for an oxtail plate is beyond ridiculous and good luck getting these people to even answer the phone during business hours. Poor poor service. No wonder their locations continue to go out of business one by one!

Found this on a list of “best soul food”…First online shows it’s dine in. It’s not… couldn’t go in to order had to call it in. No prices listed. Paid $54 for an oxtail plate!!! Mac and cheese was inedible..cornbread dressing was crumbled cornbread with gravy. Meat loaf was literally a loaf of meat (not sure what kind of meat). No seasoning on anything!! Black eyed peas were hard. Collards were canned. Mashed potatoes weren’t seasoned. Was my birthday lunch and this totally ruined that for me. This place is terrible and not with the money that was paid.

Me and hubby went here. Came from a ways away bc he had the food years ago and said it was good. Called & got a voicemail that gave instructions & stated they’re open until 5 or until sold out. No one answered the phone or the door when we got there AND there was no sign stating sold out for today’s date. Such a shame, was looking forward to supporting.

No atmosphere to enjoy!! 1/10! On our review board. Will be checking health department licensing.. is why it’s only closed and carry-out!! Stay

No one answers the phone during business hours. No one answered the door when we arrived around 2:30pm, although the voicemail and website indicated that they are open at that time. The voicemail indicated that they may close “if sold out”. Why not just put a sign on the door to indicate that they are closed?! There were people sitting in the parking lot calling and ringing the doorbell. One family indicated they had been waiting for 30 MINUTES because there was no closed sign and no one was answering the door or phone. People drive quite a long distance across the valley to get there and should at least be given the courtesy of a CLOSED sign on the door!!
