This place is moving to a new location but it'll still be in Las Vegas. They'll be called Blue Macaw in the move on flamingo and 215! It's a rare gem of a Mexican restaurant and I'm always satisfied when I leave. I love their street tacos as they use the sweetest part of the meat. Even before they're open, there's a line from the door so you know it's good!

Server awesome. Food plentiful. Dated interior. Tried to seat us in left side. But the carpet was filthy and the whole place stank because of the carpet. Right side better. Owner was very sweet and gave great advice.

Macayo's has been our go to place for Mexican food for decades. The family has assembled a wonderful array of recipes and a dynamic staff. Unfortunately the founders' daughter has decided to sell out the name and close the restaurants. We will miss them all.

OMG! The best I've had in a long time. I will miss them when they do close. Had a margarita and it had a bit too much of the margarita mix, made it taste a bit sour. The food was amazing, good size portions. A little bit pricey for Mexican food but Would definitely go again.

I did not hate this place!! I loved this place!!!! Growing up in Vegas, this place was the hang out spot during my high school days and it still is. I moved to Utah and i come back here just for this place.. So sorry the one on west sahara closed down. Please please build another one!!!!!
We have been going there for 32 years and it is as good as ever. The servers have been there for a long time which say a lot about this restaurant. The food is great and consistent. The chunky salsa is the best anywhere. Will say this Macayo's is much better than the ones we visited in Phoenix

I really hate to see this restaurant go they have been here for 30 years in Vegas and they've got great food great service. they will no longer be macayo's here in about another month they're moving to the opposite side of town off of flamingo and 215 they will then be known as the Blue Macaw. I've been reassured by the staff there in the service are that the food's going to stay the same prices are pretty much going to stay the same it's just going to be in a different name.
