We visited Sky Bar at the Waldorf Astoria for drinks on New Year’s, and it was a fantastic experience! The drinks were excellent—refreshing and perfectly balanced, without being overly sweet. I especially recommend trying the Spanish Trail; it’s a must-have.
The service was top-notch. Ambience could be better

First, it's called the Hotel Bar, not the Sky Bar. And it's sort of temporarily occupying a former fine dining restaurant space as the hotel renovates its upcoming space (ETA Feb). But the bartender, music, ambiance, view, and cocktails were worth the lengthy search it took to find it.

Ryan was a fantastic bartender. He made the most perfect dirty martini in addition to other great drinks. Highly recommend.

An overall disappointing experience when I visited. The actual Skybar was under renovation, a foaming machine for making certain cocktails was broken, the bar tender’s attitude could have been better.
The cocktail itself was too sugary, like drinking syrup, this was after I shared preference for less sweet drinks. Had two sips, and no desire to even try another. The view’s just ok, like what you could get at any of the hotels nearby.

Everything is beautiful and beyond description, such as the food, drinks and views, especially right after sunset. It is worth a visit

Difficult to get to and they can't update their Google page that the place is closed for renovations. Lame
Sky bar was closed. Offered alternative. Should have declined. Zero ambiance, no view and very mediocre drinks.

Closed. Don't bother. Walked a considerable distance to get there only to find out that it's closed for refurbishment and their substitute is a tiny sitting room on the 3rd floor... I'm sorry, but you can't continue to advertise yourself as a rooftop bar when you're sending people to a random corner with no views on the 3rd floor. I had checked the website prior to going, and there was no mention of them being closed and the location being changed. Disappointing and unprofessional.

Beautiful view of the strip. The decor is lavish; the music is soft enough to have a covo without stressing your vocal cords. They stop serving dood one hour before closing

Very misleading. The bar is closed for construction so I was time and money to come all the way here to find out. Very unprofessional being they are located at Waldorf. Management should do a better job communicating with clients. Even hostess said many clients get disappointed when they get there because they moved the bar to another location inside the building with a very poor and limited view.

I'm sure some people would find this little place fun, we are more down to Earth and like amazing food for those prices and our waiter didn't quite fit in with exemplary staff at the Wardolf. Overall, won't be back.
