Never received my order. Called and confirmed delievery with store and then had my order canceled 15 minutes later by text. So annoying to deal with.
Mary's, formerly Cafe Verde at 9821 S Eastern Ave has had some problems since changing hands and/or names. Still, I think the business has potential if they could only get out of their own way. They seem overwhelmed at times and in my experience, don't handle mistakes well nor in a way that would promote repeat business. I once waited over 1-hour for my pizza delivery even though I'm only 1.3 miles away. After calling the restaurant several times regarding the status of my order, one of which the owner or manager hung up the phone after realizing it was me, then refused to answer the phone when I called back (caller ID), my pizza eventually arrived, but the toppings were wrong. I spoke with someone by phone and requested a re-make and told whomever that I would pickup my order. They gave me a pickup time of 15- minutes. I arrived in 18-minutes, but the pizza wasn't ready for another 15-minutes. This was on a Saturday night, around 8:30 I believe. Mary's is divided into two sections, half pizzeria style dining and the other half a circular bar with video porker machines and way too much lighting. I thought it odd that on a Saturday night, there was no one but their delivery driver sitting on the pizzeria side and only a handful of people sitting at the bar. Anyway, I was eventually handed my order and paid in fullfull, which was a bit unsettling as I half expected a courtesy discount or even no charge considering all that had transpired. I am giving this eatery 3-stars because 1) I do like their pizza better than Mario's or Lefty's and 2), it is my hope that they will get their sh** together. If I were the owner/manager, I'd start by personally responding to all negative reviews and invite all back at a complementary discount. Today is Super Bowl Sunday and I am planning to order a large pizza and wings. I anticipate Mary's delivery to be very busy today as with all pizza joints, so I may decide to pickup my pizza and save myself the headache. I looked online to see if Mary's was offering a Super Bowl promo, but found nada. An opportunity missed in my opinion.

Got food poisoning. The chicken wings smelled off but I was hungry and ate a few bites. Now I'm very sick. Do not order from here. Another reviewer commented food smelled off as well on Grubhub.

I ordered a chicken fettuccini Alfredo with mushroom from this restaurant through listmates and got just noodles with mushrooms, lol no joke. It cost me $18 and postmarks only refunded me $10. This place is a joke and so is postmates
