Matiki Island BBQ

It was my very first time coming here and the food was pretty good but they were all sold out of beef ribs and kalbi:( I ordered the steak and chicken plate and it also came with Mac salad and rice which was so good. I also ordered a Macsabi and that was really good too. The space was pretty small but exceptional. The customer service was OUT OF THIS WORLD SPECTACULAR! My servers name was Jaime and she was very pretty and polite and guided me through the menu! There were also two other young ladies that was helping me and making sure I was enjoying myself! Shoutout to those three wonderful young ladies, you guys are doing great keep up the good work! I will be visiting here again to try something new!

We tried this place in June, actually a different location in Las Vegas and was absolutely incredible.
Was so thrilled to try again.
This location was nothing like the other location, food was not favorable and the steak was tough.

We parked in handicap with our disability plaque and while eating, there company Van parked so close to my car, I had to wait for my daughter to back out to get in the passager door.
The spot the van parked was not a parking spot.

The flavor is good. But very fatty and tough short rib. Chicken is hard and overcooked. Also steak is so overcooked it’s gray and chewy.

This is my 3rd time going to this place and we ordered the big kahuna plate the first time I Loved it ❤️ it’s was really good food we got lot food for 2 people it was a Sunday and it was kind of dirty and I understand because it was kind of busy but the 2nd time the chicken y really dry and I give them an other chance but today it was the same very dry and I complained but the lady just apologized when I open the container it seems a lot food but on the bottom was a lot rice and chicken so on top they just put the meet and the ribs just to cover it so maybe I’ll find another place do you guys have any other places please let me know 🤓

I’m from Canada and don’t really know what authentic Hawaiian food is but regardless, this place is amazing!!!! 🤩 the BBQ IS SOOO GOOD!!! I definitely recommend checking this place out!!

I ordered the chicken plate with rice and salad through DoorDash. I’ve ordered this same dish many times from this location and it’s usually great, but this time was disappointing. The salad portion was unusually small, and the quality wasn’t good. The dressing was especially off, it tasted like plain cooking oil instead of the usual vinegar-based dressing I’ve come to expect. It really seemed like they just poured oil on it. I hope this was just a one-time issue because the quality is usually much better.

This place is absolutely 🔥! I have never been disappointed and everything from the beef ribs, kalbi short ribs, to the spam macsubi!! Don't sleep on this restaurant!!

The Advertising on Instagram brought me in. The Food & Service will keep me coming back. I tried the Short Ribs and they were a knockout

The beef ribs were as expected…amazing. I love beef back ribs and they were even better with the marinade and char from the open flame grill. Will absolutely be back.

The restaurant has a good vibe and I was greeted as I came in. I got the Rib Plate with rice and Mac. The Mac was delicious! Rice was good too. The weight of the plate was deceiving. It was very heavy so I thought I was gonna get a decent portion of ribs. The ribs were a let down. I got 5 bones with very little meat. The rib meat was very good and tasty but I paid too much for hardly any meat. I was a little disappointed.

You have to check this place out. The ribs were amazing & the beef/rice platter was to die for. They have some of the best sauce I have ever had in my life. I would send it back home in 50 gallon drums if they sold it.
