For a casino on the strip, prices were very reasonable. Good value for spend. Food was cooked perfectly. Small menu selection, nothing exciting. Steak and seafood choices, only 1 chicken, no pasta. Few choices for non-beef eaters. Limited days open. Overall, service was very good. Went in for a birthday and they were extraordinary with a birthday card presented upon arrival. Of course a birthday ice cream desert as well. Small but good wine menu and liquor selection. Would go back again.

Dinner before the Terry Fator show. Didn't want to mortgage the house for dinner at the top of the Strat. Read the rave reviews for Mc Calls and we were not disappointed!! Outstanding meal. Mark, our server, was professional and engaging and made for a great experience overall. Able to take advantage of the happy hour drinks at our table ( instead of the bar) and enjoyed an excellent steak dinner. Highly recommend.

Food was excellent. Portions large. We shared a cheesecake and could not finish it. It was delicious

The food was over cooked. The smoked ribs were really tough. Brisket was dry and tough. Even the coleslaw was without flavor. Fries were soggy and tasted funny.

Dinner was exceptional! Bar drinks were great! We had a sapphire martini and a mojito. The steak was incredible and delicious! The red snapper was phenomenal! I will definitely return.

Food overpriced, cold, and not tasteful at all. The lemon drop was great tho The server kept making jokes that was inappropriate

Opentable Diner

This restaurant was not open at all. No one around and no one to tell us why. Don't book thru open table for this one

Can you think of a more fitting restaurant for Wrangler National Finals Rodeo Week than McCall's Heartland Grill at the bottom of the STRAT? If you can't decide, order the Seafood Fish Fry and the BBQ Platter for a mix of different meats to share. Want a novel twist on a classic? Try the Garlic Parmesan Fries.

Two notes on the food. The portions, even the Starters, are HUGE. Order to share or plan on taking home a good part. Unless you specify otherwise, the steak will be cooked bland without seasoning.

Vegetarian options: It's a steak house, so mostly meat, but the Caesar Salad is vegetarian (but not vegan because of the Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese) or order the Smokehouse Chop Salad without bacon. Both are big enough for a meal by themselves.

Parking: The STRAT has a paid parking garage but those with valid Nevada id get free in-out privileges. Free parking on some of the surrounding streets.

Wheelchair accessibility: The entire restaurant and the restrooms next to the restarant entrance are on the same level as the casino with spacy paths.

I ordered the top of line of the steak menu and didn’t impress me at all. Missed the flavor and no life to it. Nachos amazing flavor. Atmosphere good and my server Mark one of the best server I had on last few years.

Got the bbq chicken and the mac and cheese with the chopped brisket.
Chicken was moist and fall off the bone tender .
The mac and cheese was omg over the top. I'd come back just for the mac ..... nailed it. Comfort in a bowl.

Food & service was absolutely wonderful. The music was too loud (could not hear our server or have a conversation at the table).

Utterly disappointing food and service with a large price tag. The menu should state how large the portions are, ex-half rack? Full rack? Had we known it was a full rack of ribs we would've split one order. My husband got the short ribs and I'm not convinced they were short ribs. Sliced pot roast yes, but I've always had to lightly pull short rib meat from the bone, there was no bone and it was sliced beef. My friend asked if she could substitute some baked beans for the included Cole slaw on her rib dinner-the waitress clearly didn't understand the question (English was not her first language) and just said no it couldn't be done. I asked if there was a “house Cabernet” instead of what was outrageously priced per glass wines (its a BBQ place, I didn't need $30 glass wines), again, she didn't understand my question and just pointed to the menu wines listed. By far our worst dining experience in Vegas. The burger wrapped in paper we had at a food court was better. We had some spectacular meals while in Vegas and we don't mind paying good money for a great meal, but this place was not one of them. Definitely will not return or recommend.
