Every aspect of Michael Mina was close to perfection. Dover sole, my favorite fish, was the best I ever had. Staff were knowledgeable, helpful but not overbearing. The level of service was unlike any restaurant I have been to in the last 15 years+. We have been there twice and the experience was equally as good. Will go back soon as we are going to make it an annual tradition.
We came to Michael Mina’s tonight and sat at the bar as it was getting near closing time. David, who was the bartender, also was our waiter. We had the scallops as an appetizer and split the Maine Lobster pot pie. The food was beyond extraordinary, but David added so much to the experience with his helpful wine suggestions and welcoming attitude. We will definitely go back and hope to see David again.
The two words that come to mind when reviewing my what must be now approaching a dozen meals at Michael Mina are excellence and consistency. I have had superb food at other restaurants in Vegas and I have had excellent service but nowhere have I always had superb food combined with excellent service on each and every occasion. Perhaps Guy Savoy and Picasso (RIP) approach that level of excellence and consistency but the sample size of my dining at those restaurants is much smaller....
