Milpa is one of my faves. I usually order the Tetelas, but I tried the Huevos Rancheros today and it was incredible. The tostada was thin and crispy underneath the eggs and ranchero sauce and it was the best ranchero sauce I've ever had. Just enough queso fresco. Perfection. I also like their arbol potatoes. They are on the other side of town from me, otherwise I would be here waaay more often. Also, as someone who has dietary restrictions, I really appreciate how everything is clearly labeled on their menu.

I want to share that the food is great! But if you order delivery they suck! They charge you for food items that are not delivered. Today I placed an order and the guacamole was not delivered and they charged for it. When I called the person on the phone Leo stated they had no guacamole no avocados but if I waited 30 minutes they can make it deliver it and refund it for the inconvenience. 30 minutes passed I called again and Leo stated dasher came to pick up the guacamole then puts me on hold then comes back stating his manager refunded the guacamole because they had no avocados however, other plates in that order came with avocado. Then he tells me there was a misunderstanding! How? No misunderstanding on my end!

Everything was delicious, accompanied by great service and friendly staff. The setting is very casual environment, designed for families, friends, and locals who know this is the place to go. We opted to check it out after seeing it on “Somebody Feed Phil” and are glad we did. Everything on the menu looked great but we could only try so much. Between my wife and I we had a mahi taco, cauliflower tinga tacos, a birria taco, a chicken adobo taco, chips and guacamole, and arbol potatoes, followed by horchata. Everything was delicious. Service was equally great.

I love milpa. the food is always satisfying, fresh, and flavorful. i always go back to the pollo adobado and I adore how they make their jamaica. the freshness of their food compliments their quality and effort they put into their dishes. the simplicity of the space yet meaningfulness makes the atmosphere very calm and pleasant. I love how their space represents the culture and intention of the restaurant. I have no complaints and I really appreciate their space. I finally tried their árbol potatoes and they’re soooo good. i love trying new plates here, knowing the intention behind their menu. A beautiful business to support and im glad they are doing well.
