When you visit Mimi's on a holiday you apparently need to lower your expectations. For example, if you have a 4 p.m. reservation, you might think you'll be seated at 4. Oh no-- expect to wait until 5 as we did on Thanksgiving. And that wait will be outdoors, as there's very little seating in the lobby. And you might expect a nice table since you made a reservation- in my case early in October. But no--after waiting in the cold we were seated at a small table both near the door and the kitchen, so no chance of "warming up," and while you may have expected enjoying a quiet meal where you can hear your dining companion speak, there was no chance of either since everyone being seated had to pass by your table and every server had to pass by your table as well on their way to the kitchen. And because the restaurant was filled to capacity the noise level just grew and grew and grew. You might at least expect some delicious food but no- the meal was okay but barely warm. What a disappointment. The only saving grace was the hostess who seated us, who had only worked there 4 days and had never worked on Thanksgiving. She managed to stay cheerful and polite, as did our server. So many dining opportunities in this city so for sure we will not be returning to Mimi's. We'll give some new places a chance to disappoint us instead.

First time visit, always passed it by. Decided to go after perusing the menu online and taking my wife out for lunch. Since were cooking Ham for Thanksgiving, decided on their Turkey Dinner on menu year round. Wife had Fish and Chips. We loved it! Turkey Breast, Cornbread Stuffing, Gravy, Cranberry Relish and 2 sides, Mash and Garlic sauteed Spinach. Nice portion, simple seasoning, felt I was at Mom's house. Finished my plate. The Fish was 4 pieces, not frozen crap, nicely battered, A mountain of thin crispy fries, and homemade mixed coleslaw. served with a bottle of Malt Vinegar and ketchup. Forgot warm Sourdough Bread and butter came out before dinner! My wife got a good pour of house white.Refilled my Coke. Fantastic warm service. Leftover Fish etc. went hone with my Wife. Highly recommend. Will be back for more comfort food. Nice to find a decent restaurant, reasonable, clean, portion to cost, great.

Truly enjoyed our 3 course selection. My daughter had the Parmesan crusted chicken w/spaghetti. My wife had chicken cordon blu w/ mashed potatoes & French fries. My mom & dad had the pot roast. I had the turkey with gravy w/mashed potatoes & broccoli. Also had French onion soup Other than the broccoli could have used some flavoring, everything else was really good. Also, last but not least the chocolate lava cake w/ vanilla ice cream was to die for. The Mrs had gotten a butter toffee crunch, w/ vanilla ice cream. Our waiter did a great job as well. Will be coming back again, I was here before on vacation many years ago. Glad to see it's kept up the great standards. Really enjoyed.

My Food was bland which was the pistachio salmon. My husband's meatloaf with gravy and mashed potatoes was salty. Lemonade from a fountain machine. We would not recommend this establishment.

The food was mediocre, but the men’s restroom was horrible. I would not think a restaurant with this kind of following. It’s been around for a long time or several Las Vegas area but this restroom is the men’s restroom was horrible. I have eaten at this restaurant twice in the last week And that will be the last time I go back.
