It was my first time to try Shogun Tonkatsu, and my experience was terrible because the way they treated customers are not professional.

I write a review because I want to let people know that CHECK YOUR ORDER triple time when you place an order and when you get your dish.
Moreover, CHECK YOUR RECEIPT!!

Me and my hubby went there yesterday(9/8 Sunday) for lunch. I ordered Pork tenderloin set and requested no rice but extra shredded cabbage. My hubby ordered pork loin set.

The Japanese lady who took our order she must be Shino(I found her name on the receipt) checked with a chef that it is ok to substitute rice to cabbage, and she confirmed and double check my order couple times.
We got our dishes and we found out both of them taste and texture are exactly same. So I told another lady server that you guys must give me wrong dish.
She found out our server put wrong order, so she said they will make tenderloin and it will be on the house.

Until here, OK they could make a mistake even though the server checked my order MORE THAN 3 TIMES!
However, when I got a check, they charged us pork loin set($16.50) and thick cut pork loin set($21). I was like "what?"

I called a server and another server came not Shino(she never came to our table after she took our order). I explained what we ordered and what happened. And then she said "you got pork loin and thick cut pork loin that is what we charged."

Excuse me? I said we didn't order that. So what they meant is since we ate one thick cut and one regular, we have to pay for it. It doesn't matter what we ordered.

The way she responded made pissing me off.
This was our first time, so we don't know how pork loin and thick cut are different.
(Also, they don't mention what kind of dishes it is when they served to our table)
In addition, we made clear with the server what we ordered several times.
They MADE a MISTAKE, and they are trying to RIP ME OFF.

In the end, they gave us 20% discount and charged 2 regular pork loin set price. THANK YOU SO MUCH for that!
However, after we went through all of this to find out whose fault it is, I felt horrible and I don't want to go back.

Shogun just opened as a new restaurant! The food was so delicious. We ordered the chicken katsu curry, and it was very fresh and one of the best japanese curries we've had! It was light and delicate ✨️

First time here and for sure will not be the last. The resto itself is cozy and quaint and very clean. The food was delicious and the service was fast and very friendly staff. Thank you!!!! I pray that this place will just boom!!!!

Parking: Plenty of parking. Same area as Brew Tea Bar off Eastern.

Best ramen I've had in vegas so far. My wife and I have tried about 13 different ramen places here and this was our favorite. The staff is very friendly and the pricing is great for the quality of food. They're signature ramen excellent and the marinated egg was cooked to perfection. The restaraunt itself is a little cramped but it did not effect our enjoyment of the food.

I COULD’VE DIED! After reading the reviews I was excited to visit. I took the recommendation of the young lady at the front for Miso Ramen. I asked about onions, and was told the Miso Ramen, comes with onions but it could be made without. I said, “Yes, please because I was severely allergic to onions!”

I sat down in the booth, and waited for my to go order. I heard the same young lady tell the kitchen no onions, allergy to onions. I even looked up to ensure they saw who they were making the order for. I even tipped the young lady and drove straight home.

I transferred the toppings and noodles to a separate bowl while I heated up the broth. Upon pouring the toppings and noodles into a separate bowl you cannot imagine my horror to see not only white onions, but green onions.

I had to use Google to get phone number to the restaurant, because it’s not on the receipt. I asked to speak to a manager, only to be told that there was no manager. They’re in transition of getting a new manager, but provided me a phone number of an old one. Ironically I was speaking to the young lady who took my order. She apologized profusely and said that she should have checked again under the corn (I paid additionally for this topping) after telling the kitchen. In my opinion she shouldn’t have to, how about LISTEN! There were only 4 ppl dining so I don’t understand. At any rate I left him a voice message and I am now waiting on his reply.

It is so lazy and unprofessional when a person tells you no onions that you take it upon yourself to think that it is a food preference. Had I eaten it without warming it up I would have gone into anaphylactic shock and died. This is a serious issue and should have been taken SERIOUSLY. I carry 2 epi pens and a note from my Dr. This food ended in the trash as I couldn’t eat it. What a waste!

We're sorry, Shogun, in Blue diamond/ Decatur closed. We missed the friendly staff there, and we finally made it to the Shogun @ Eastern. Staff are friendly and the food is very good.

Ramen was almost as good as Monta. The noodles are the same but broth was jot as flavorful. The additional appetizer options are nice. The curry was below average tho. Might still be the best place to get ramen in Henderson.

The ramen was cooked well and flavorful. We had been looking for a great ramen spot in Henderson and were so glad we found Shogun. We will be returning often.

Every time I want to eat ramen I always come here and order the same thing, namely Shogun Ramen. The only downside is that the place is too small so if there are a lot of people I have to wait for 20-30 minutes.
