Montis is the best! So happy to find their new location (The Spot LV) from leaving the east side.

From the food to the service they’re worth the drive every time!

The place was not there. Very disappointed

drove 15 minutes to the place and there’s no food truck. There’s a place called the spot and they don’t even sell the same food as the food truck so it’s kind of deceiving to put the information and pictures of the food truck and when you get there its totally different menu and totally different name

Drove around the complex trying to find them at 6pm on Thursday. The address leads to The Spot restaurant. No food truck in sight. Tried calling their number for help finding them and was unfortunately sent to voicemail.
Edit: yikes to that response? In no way was I attempting to attack, however it could be worth clarifying these things on your website so others aren’t also confused and frustrated. It’s difficult to support a local business when you cannot find them at their listed location and hours.

Disrespectful and Racist Behavior

I wish I could write a positive review about Monti’s Food Truck but my experience was nothing short of disappointing and infuriating. I’ve heard mixed things about this place, but I never expected to be treated with outright disrespect and blatant racial discrimination.

From the moment I approached the truck, the staff’s attitude was unwelcoming. While I waited patiently in line, I noticed that other customers—who happened to be of a different race—were greeted with smiles and friendly small talk. When it was my turn, the tone shifted. The main guy ringing the orders barely acknowledged me, spoke with a cold and dismissive attitude, and acted like taking my order was an inconvenience.

What made matters worse was the way my order was handled. While others received their food promptly, I was left waiting far longer than anyone else, despite ordering something simple. I even noticed another customer, who ordered after me, getting the exact same item first. When I asked about my order, I was met with an eye roll and a snarky response.

At first, I wanted to believe it was just bad service, but after seeing a clear pattern of who was being treated well and who wasn’t, it became obvious—this wasn’t just bad customer service, it was discrimination. To add insult to injury, when I finally got my food, it was sloppily thrown together, as if they couldn’t care less.

No business, no matter how good their food might be, should be supported if they treat customers unfairly based on race. There are plenty of other food trucks that actually appreciate ALL of their customers. I won’t be spending another dime here, and I urge others to think twice before giving them business.

We couldn't have asked for a better catering experience than what we got with Monti's Smokehouse BBQ! They catered our wedding in October, and from start to finish, everything was absolutely flawless.

Ryan was amazing throughout the entire planning process, helping us create a menu that perfectly suited our guests' tastes. He was so attentive, offering great suggestions and making sure every detail was taken care of. The planning was seamless, and on the big day, the execution was even better!

The staff during setup were incredible—professional, kind, and so accommodating. They took care of everything, allowing us to focus on enjoying our day. They worked efficiently, and it was clear they were experienced and genuinely cared about making our event run smoothly.

Now, let's talk about the food. WOW! We received so many compliments from our guests, and we couldn’t agree more! The brisket was tender and flavorful, while the pulled pork was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. But the star of the show for us was the cucumber salad. It was hands down the best we've ever had! So fresh, crisp, and delicious—it was a huge hit with everyone.

We chose Ryan and the Monti Smokehouse team to cater our small desert wedding in the Valley of Fire. We are not local to Las Vegas and his team was recommended by our wedding planner. When I first spoke to Ryan about our vision for the food, I wanted basically a tapas menu with 10 different things because my husband and I love just ordering appetizers. When I tell you that Ryan and his team absolutely delivered, I mean it. He took my vision and ran with it and it was the best decision we made hiring them! Not only was the team amazing and so kind and professional, the service and presentation was perfect and exactly what we envisioned! The menu was SPOT ON and so perfect! Serving the meal family style on platters at the table was Ryan’s idea and it just tied in so well with our reception vision!

Now on to the food…that was hands down the best food I’ve ever had at a wedding and I’m not exaggerating. I’ve had multiple guests text me raving about how amazing their food was! The brisket mac n cheese egg rolls with the homemade ranch was FIRE. the steak crostini with the pickled onions - FIRE. The pan seared dumplings, chicken skewers, garlic shrimp, hot honey feta, like literally EVERY single thing they put out was FIRE. and we still can’t get over how 2 people were able to whip up all that goodness in a food truck in the middle of the desert AND serve our guests passed appetizers, like my mind is seriously blown. The flavors of everything were bomb - everything was cooked to perfection! If you’re looking for a caterer with amazing food and service you NEED to hire Monti’s!!

Thank you so much again, you truly made our wedding memorable and enjoyable and I can guarantee you we, along with our guests, will be talking about your food years later!

We hired Monti's Smokehouse BBQ for an office party recently. They were early enough to make sure they were fully set up for the event before it started, the food was delicious, the service was amazing and they were fun on top of that. Our guests gave rave reviews on the food and the fun servers. 10/10 would recommend!
