I have eaten at a few Mr. Chow's now Vegas and New York City. The New York City restaurant would be better. the service was impeccable. there was a strong attempt to upsell. had said the shrimp with walnuts was excellent The Mr. Chow noodles were better in New York City and the duck sadly was overcooked and dry. potstickers are good. overall. pretty good but not amazing
This was our second time here. We loved it so much when we first came that when we came back to Las Vegas we specifically wanted to come back to Mr. Chow. The prawns with walnuts appetizer was delicious, but the duck was unfortunately very dry. After the first course, we asked our waiter ( Martin) for a fresh plate and he argued with us that when you order a La carte - fresh plates aren't included. Quite rude in our opinion. Food was delicious, Beijing duck was almost as good as having it in Beijing, and the shrimp and Chilean sea bass were great. Also, the steak was super tender better than at the celebrity chef places in the resorts. The servers were great and we accidentally stayed 40 min after closing and they didn't rush us out. I actually felt terrible for the wait staff but they were so polite.
