Got there at 12 and didnt have to wait... Servers are always friendly... Food comes out quickly. We were lucky they had the Hamachi kama that day... although our second order of Ikura came out about half the size of the first... Definitely worth the price. Met a guy that drives from Sunrise Manor once a month just to get his fix...

Has been our go to spot. Last visit was much different, fish to rice ratio took a 180. Hoping it was just an off night.

We were at the newly opened Durango hotel gambling and decided we wanted sushi. We yelped the closest place and this was it. We gave it a try and it was the best decision we made. The staff were friendly and the food came out fast. We literally tried everything on the menu and all of it was delicious. We always say how the next time we are in Vegas we have to come back here as it was one of the best sushi places we've eaten in Vegas. That's saying a lot considering we've eaten at renown sushi restaurants on the strip.

Under new management, it sucks. late night happy hour is horrible and cost more Texture of rice is totally different than before. Miss the Mr shota with all the anime decor. Gotta find a different place now.

This is such a fun place. I absolutely loved their cocktails. The sushi was absolutely delicious. They were extremely quick and fast extremely nice a very fun environment for group of friends or a family night. If you love sushi they have tons of options and the meat kebabs were also delicious and cooked to perfection.

So so yummy!! Such a great date night with my love! Sushi was super fresh and FAST. The staff was extremely friendly they don't overload everything with rice to fill you up. We will definitely be back!

I have been to so many sushi spots in the city and this is definitely in my top 3! The staff were knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly. They had so many delicious rolls and appetizers to choose from. They even run a late night special which I will definitely come back to check out. The ceviche was too good and love how thick the slices of nigiri were. I definitely recommend this spot!

Yelped some sushi restaurants in the area and found this place. We were limited on time and thinking we would just grab a couple of Al la carte rolls (we only had 45 minute time due to an appointment in the area). After ordering a few things and them coming out almost immediately- we decided to switch to all you can eat. Service was quick. Loved the small portions so you weren't expected to finish off something huge. Lotsof variety here too- tons of appetizers, skewers, soup and sushi. There's something for everyone. The restaurant is pretty small so I imagine it would be crowded in a weekend evening, however we went around 3pm on a Saturday and were seated right away. The two of us were done in less than an hour.

I came here for a weekday lunch and had the AYCE sushi. I've noticed a lot of places around the area do not offer sashimi as part of their AYCE menu, but I was really surprised by the great fish-to-rice ratio. All the fish tasted fresh and I loved all of their torched sushi items. The price is great for what you get, so I really can't complain! It wasn't too busy so they were pretty diligent about taking our orders. The ice cream for dessert was also great, and the perfect size after a satisfying meal. It has some cute decor on the inside, so definitely a solid spot for AYCE sushi.

This is our go-to spot for sushi since this v place opened, I've been there many times and we always really enjoy the AYCE and their service there. We used to be able to join the live wait but not we just go and usually get seated pretty quick if it's not on the weekends. One time they made a mistake on our order and the chef insisted on sending us a beautiful complimentary order just for us to try and we loved it, such a nice gesture on their part. No pictures of the chefs' dish because we ate it all but I I definitely will take more pix of food next time we go! One of my favorite orders is the baked mussels, Super white tuna nigiri, the anime-themed rolls (half order so you can try them all!) Even my dad who's super picky with food in general and only orders his Dragon roll, loves this place. The restaurant isn't very big so we usually go at odd hours like 4:30pm for dinner.. it gets pretty busy on the weekends. It's a great environment to have yummy sushi, dessert and hang out with friends and catch up with family. Enjoy! Now I'm craving sushi again.

Service was great and fast with the restaurant being completely full. Everything tasted great and fresh. My 2 daughters (2 and 3 yrs of age) also enjoyed it. First time trying Mr. Shota, they're now my go to sushi spot!

I loved this place! the rolls came out quickly, the fish was so fresh, and the service was great. Since I have a minor allergy, I loved that the menu included the items inside and on top of the rolls! I really appreciated that! The only thing that I didn't like was that the coconut shrimp was served in mayo. Not my taste, but the breading on the shrimp was great.

Wow. I did not like it here. It was probably the worst sushi I've ever had. the fish was thin, fishy, the texture was weird. Even the edamame was undercooked. Agedashi tofu was dry--there was no broth. The skewers were not good either. The "yakitori" tasted like teriyaki chicken, which is not the same if you know what it is supposed to taste like. I am usually not this critical but the service was awful too. Our server was not attentive at all. When i asked for green tea ice cream she responded with "sorry we are out of strawberry and coffee today." Similar things happened multiple times when we were ordering. Don't waste your money, it's cheap but not worth your money & calories. I will probably never come back here again.

We like coming here because the rice to fish ratio is perfect. We are bummed they got rid of the Hamachi Kama, that one was a go-to order. Our server, Jean Paul, had great recommendations. We always have great service and I never feel rushed in placing my order, even if we are a little indecisive. Also, the birthday celebrations here are fun. We have seen them happen and it looks like a blast Must try: Salmon Ceviche, Salmon Kama, Goku hand roll, and the Nigiris.
