Cool spot for weekend breakfast! Service fast no wait and great music! The menu looks cool and it really does have a NYC METRO cafe vibe!

Stopped by for a quick break at 4pm on a weekend, and I'm so glad I did! When you enter, there is a clear path to the counter to order. I got the Tomato Basil Soup, with 1/2 a grilled cheese on toast. Was able to use swipe, chip, or Tap to pay by card. Then I was given a metal number placard to place on my table while I wait. It took all of 3-5 minutes for my dine-in order to come out, and boy was it steaming hot on the ceramic ware, just how I like it! The tomato basil soup was thick and flavorful. The grilled cheese was between 2 pieces of thick buttery crispy toast, and its oily self paired super will with the acidity of the tomato soup. I just kept dunking it into the soup until there was no more. Today I opted to sit inside the well-conditioned dining area. There are also booths with charging ports available, and a dining patio outside. I left feeling warm and satisfied, and am so glad I stumbled into MTO Cafe today, I feel like I've found a hidden gem in downtown Summerlin and can't wait to stop in next time to try something else on their menu.

My husband found this place when something came up about funky new breakfast spots in Las Vegas. Even though we stay on the strip, we always look for freak spots to eat "off the strip" to support local places. The menu was great, the service was super and the food was terrific. The server brought the chef out to our table and we were excited and happy to report we really enjoyed our meals. I got the savory breakfast of chicken fried rice. The menu says brown rice, but they server white rice, which was fine. What I especially loved about it was two things: 1. The peas and carrots were perfectly square cut but fresh. I expected the standard frozen peas and carrots, but to my surprise, they were super fresh and it the flavors of pea and carrot took it over the top. 2. The flavor. It was so good. Different then your standard teriyaki but perfect for the dish. My husband got the breakfast sandwich and s mimosa and he raves about both. The orange juice was fresh squeezed and delicious! Oh yeah, also when we were there yesterday (June 14th) the playlist for the day was employee, "Manny's". I just want to thank Manny for having very good taste and turning me onto Jack Harlow! A great way to start our day exploring Vegas!

My wife want and I ordered food to go for the first time. Both the salad and grilled cheese we ordered were soggy and the tomato soup tasted like a can of ragu.

This is the worst place in downtown Summerlin. Food is mediocre at best but doable, but the service is what can only be described as GOD AWFUL. When and if you get addressed the staff is monotone. When they just decide they have something better to do like restock ketchup packets and refill milk containers, they'll flat out ignore you. It's 50/50 whether or not your hot food is cold and even cold food seems stale and overcooked. I don't expect a Greek chicken salad to have soggy wilted spinach and rock hard chicken but nothing surprises me at that place anymore. Go somewhere else, anywhere else.

Nice staff. Totally air conditioning to the max and it was nice to get out of the heat for a little. They have a lot of options to include Truly jar seltzers. Their food is delicious and great for a quick snack while shopping.

Slow and they seemed understaffed. Came here on a Sunday. I was not impressed with any of the food, the juice with bell pepper in it.. and especially the michelada I decided to give a try. I ordered the pork tacos, barely meat on them and fries seemed seasoned but were bland. Red velvet waffles seemed more red than flavor. Steak Benedict was bland as well. A little overpriced. Nice location though.

What happened to this place? First off, almost every single employee is not friendly, seems to hate being there and all around flustered. Why do they have one person working the register for orders that also has to stop and make drinks AND give food to the tables. No hustle, no kindness, no smiles. We have came here for the convenience of it being in downtown summerlin, but all 3 times this month has been a bad experience. Not only that, they have changed their menu and it's not what it used to be. There are some faves still like the king Elvis but they got rid of all their skillets (the only thing I ordered there) and some of the menu items we have tried (banana fosters pancakes) are not good and the food comes out cold. Hot food comes out cold. And we have seen some of the foot sit at the window getting cold while no one serves the tables. So sad.

Tried one of their new sandwiches, the chicken pesto panini with a side of potatoes. The sandwich wasn't bad but I feel like it could've used more seasoning and the potatoes were nicely seasoned.

First time eating here after passing by nearly every day since they opened. Very unorganized. Got here around 9:50am, on 4/9, the place was not busy AT ALL, maybe around 20% capacity. Waited in line for nearly 30 minutes before I was able to place my order. The persons alternating taking orders would leave the station to make drinks, bring food to tables and other miscellaneous things, causing the line to get backed up even more. The girl that took my order (tall, American girl), was very nice and pleasant to talk to. The other worker (shorter girl, darker, overweight), did not have the correct attitude to be working at a place like this. Her attitude was more suitable for dirty North Las Vegas Popeye's restaurant. When she brought out my coffee, i said "thank you", and she just made a grunting noise, similar to a Lord of the Rings ogre monster. All the food came out cold. I ordered steak & eggs (medium steak was way over well done), with scrambled eggs, country potatoes, and a side of fries. Overall, the food wasn't good. Very bland and barely any flavor. Was absolutely not worth the $30 I paid. The only thing that wasn't bad was the coffee. They need more organization to get the line going. The drinks don't NEED to be made ASAP after the order. They can sit down and wait, like everyone else. I DO NOT recommend eating here.

Looked for a quick lunch spot near our hotel before we check in and we decided for MTO Cafe. Ordered their "Chicken and Waffles" and "KFC" and we waited approximately 8-10 minutes for our food. Once the food came, I noticed how dark the chicken was and it's most likely from overusing the frying oil. I was really disappointed, but the waffles of course tasted great. The potatoes from the KFC tasted like tap water. However, I would come back to try something else or give it another try because it could've just been an over usage of the oil.

I visit this cafe once or twice a month. While waiting for my husband who is attending an appt., I watch the staff and they are INCREDIBLE! I usually get a tea and maybe a pastry while I read but notice the staff hustle to serve the customers. They do it all! They take the orders, make drinks, serve the food, bus tables and ensure the tables are clean for the next customers. They are all very friendly and work SO hard. What I have seen is they have a great business and the food looks delicious. Nice job, MTO Cafe employees!!!

Went to MTO today & walked out & will never go back! It's a Sunday morning & busy line out the door & no one is working with any sense of urgency. This problem is not due to shortage of employees rather than employees without any courtesy! It would be one thing if you have a line & acknowledge, "i will be right with you" instead of being made to feel like i don't exist!
