Really great place. Definitely worth stopping by and it was very reasonably priced. Good sake selection to boot! Definitely will be back soon.

Went here a few days ago and had the worst service I’ve experienced at a restaurant. Took 30 minutes after being seated to get our first order of AYCE in, only to be ignored for another 40 minutes while everyone around us was ordering and getting their food quickly. We sat for an hour and a half and were spoken to only three times by our server. The only time our server was attentive was when we asked for the check.

My family and I enjoy trying new sushi restaurants, especially when it's AYCE. Although this restaurant doesn't offer our favorite conveyor belt-style, it still was an outstanding experience. When we first walked in, I was a little worried because the restaurant was on the smaller side and we immediately had to wait for a table to open up. I actually thought about leaving to go find another restaurant because at this point, I didn't know how long the wait was going to be and I was starving. However, I'm glad that I didn't because the food was excellent. My choice of sushi is probably standard in some people's eyes. I typically get anything with octopus, ahi tuna (whether just a tuna roll or spicy tuna roll), and anything sashimi style. I don't entertain all that other fancy schmancy rolls since for the majority of my life, I was raised on raw tuna. My wife and daughter, on the other hand, do venture towards other types of rolls and tonight the specialty rolls they ordered were the Salmon Skin Roll, Rainbow Roll, and Japanese Lasagna - they really enjoyed it too. We also ordered the Cucumber Roll, Miso Soup, Seaweed Salad, Fried Gyoza, Steamed Gyoza, and Chicken Karaage, in which all of them were phenomenal. Also, the Taiyaki here is great so don't forget to leave room for that! The service was surprisingly amazing! I thought the service was going to be slow considering there weren't that many servers, but everything came out really fast and was made with high quality as well. Our main server was very friendly, efficient, and attentive. The prices for this restaurant are reasonable and they allow ample time during the AYCE session to sit and enjoy all your favorite types of sushi/rolls. We also realized that they have specialty nights here as well, which is pretty cool - never seen that before.I highly recommend this place to everyone! If you haven't been here before, you should consider setting a day/night to visit - you won't be disappointed.

Have been here 2 times before. This time was quite a let down. Was here last before COVID. Fish was still fresh, but VERY small portions with lots of rice, watery sauce, and garnish to fill you up. Even at $30 for AYCE sushi didn't feel like we got our money's worth. We ordered the special fish menu primarily, and the portions were really disappointing. If you look at photos from even a year ago, they look huge. These were paper thin and, honestly, not very tasty. This used to be one of our favorites. Won't be back.

I come here all the time and service is amazing along with the food that’s just as amazing!
My favorite sushi restaurant. It’s so cozy inside and feels almost like a home dining room. Although it’s small and cozy, there’s still a nice element of privacy to the tables and is great for a solo night out or date night. Sushi is fresh and delicious and high quality and the price is incredible. I’m so happy I found this place!
Food is always wonderful. We got AYCE & didn't get everything we ordered. Service was slower than I remember. Used to be my go to sushi but they're not open for lunch anymore.

The best sushi on the west side. Small family owned restaurant. Owner is one of the sushi sheff's. Great service and delicious food.
Had an awesome dining experience. This is by far the best Japanese restaurant. Food is authentic without a doubt. It was our family first time but certainly not the last.

Best Sushi ? in the west. Really I don’t want to share this. Because, I don’t want my little place to not have space for me when I come, but Naka and his family have been serving me and my family sushi for years and it has only gotten better! Fresh. That’s all you need when you want sushi! Had it yesterday and want it again today! Is something wrong with me?
SAVE YOUR $$ GET SUSHI ELSEWHERE!!!I was so excited for sushi tonight, my boyfriend's parents treated us. This place was my chosen location. We get in and they say they do not take Google reservations, 10 mins before our time. She checks with the only other server and says yes that we will be seated. We sit down... they offer us a drink, we get Nigori, white peach. Our first order was fine, all nigiri. The rolls however take forever, we have been here an hour and have had maybe 3 rolls... if the cook was more concerned on his orders rather than chatting it up my Japanese lasagna may have not come out burnt. There's not alot of people and one of our rolls has been forgotten. This was one of the worst dates nights I've had in a while. The rice has been breaking off every single piece. Once again maybe due to the cook just chatting it up the rice has not been watched as it should. I will see how long we wait for some more food. Now 10 minutes later still waiting on our final roll as my bf has decided this is ridiculous. He left still hungry but being here 1.5 hours and not getting your rolls but 30 minutes later... yeah big no.
