Naked Fish's Sushi & Grill

You can't go wrong here ! Naked Fish is our absolute go to sushi spot. The service is great and the fish is the freshest in Vegas. I will never go anywhere else for sushi. We visit multiple times a week and are never disappointed!!

This was the first time I experienced such unpleasant treatment at this restaurant. When I walked in and asked if there were any available seats, the Japanese server said, “If we clean up, there will be seats available,” while checking the reservation list. However, after I waited for about 15 minutes, she suddenly told me, “We’re full right now and cannot seat you.”

At that moment, the owner, who is also the sushi chef, clearly instructed the staff to clean the tables since the kitchen was not busy. Despite this, the server kept insisting that there were no seats. It was obvious that she simply didn’t want to seat two people at a four-person table.

On top of that, Google Maps showed that reservations could be made and even indicated that seats were available. Yet the reality was the exact opposite. Honestly, this felt like an insult to customers. If a server is going to pick and choose which customers to serve, then she shouldn’t be working in hospitality or the restaurant business at all.

It’s clear that this restaurant has serious issues with customer service. Looking at the Google reviews, I saw many other people complaining about the same thing.

I will never return to this restaurant.

In A Nutshell:

-Naked Fish is a locals hot spot for Japanese food.
-It is a very good idea to call ahead & make a reservation.
-The small space makes the environment cozy & intimate.
-The food is always fresh & delicious, I especially enjoy the Deep Fried Mackeral, Screaming Orgasm Salad & the garlicky edamame.
-The beer here is very cold which pairs well w/ their cold house sake.

Overall, I've eaten here many times & it never disappoints!

This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.
I ordered a pick up over the phone, they said it’ll take an hour to be ready. I showed up on time, but the food wasn’t ready. They said it’ll take 20 min more. After 25 min, I asked them to check on my order. The sushi chef/owner said it’ll take an hour more! Unfortunately, I had to leave without my order. No one even apologized.
Also, every time I went there (even when I booked a table in advance), I waited 20 min minimum to be sited, and 45-60 min more for my food.
This place needs a new management.

We have ate at Naked Fish in the past. Someone always greets you when you walk in. The staff is very friendly and professional. The sushi is always great tasting. Will go back again and again.

⭐️ 1 star – Miscommunication, long waits, and poor service

My wife and I had a really bad experience here. We ordered separately — steak and sides for her (she doesn’t eat seafood), two sushi rolls for me. Another table came in after us, ordered almost the same thing, and got their food well before we did.

Her food arrived, mine didn’t. When we asked, the staff gave multiple excuses — first that my rolls “take longer” (even though the other table got theirs), then said they thought we were sharing everything, despite us clearly stating we weren’t.

We were ignored for over 10 minutes in a tiny restaurant where it’s hard to miss a table. No silverware was brought with her food. I asked to cancel mine so we could leave. Instead of resolving anything, the waitress touched my shoulder to “calm me down” — I wasn’t even angry, just uncomfortable and confused.

We asked to pay for what we ate and leave. They refused. We ended up paying $74 for a stressful, drawn-out mess of an experience. Took our food to go and got Chick-fil-A instead.

Definitely won’t return.

Experience was lack luster, and I'm no doctor, but I believe I got food poisoning.

This was our second visit to Naked Fish Sushi & Grill and was as outstanding as the first. The quality and freshness of the Sashimi and Nigiri Sushi was superb. The presentation was amazing. Chef Yasuo is a highly experienced Sushi Chef and it shows in his signature dishes. Their many other selections include Salmon Kama, Yellowtail Kama, and so many other delicious menu selections. As always, Wanda took us under her wing and provided excellent services and expert advice on how to enjoy the amazing dishes. My wife and I know Japanese food very well having lived in Japan for four years and have been enjoying for the past 50 years. As I stated in my previous review, Naked Fish Sushi & Grill is by far the best sushi to found in Las Vegas and is offered at reasonable prices.

Naked Fish has been our go-to spot since we moved to Vegas. It's the best sushi in the city without a doubt. Plus it's reasonably priced compared to everything on the strip. It's a small place and can fill up fast so I definitely recommend making a reservation. Recommendations: App - Fried Calamari NF Style and NY Steak Rolls - Dejavu Roll and Tiger & Dragon Roll combo Dessert - Tempura Ice Cream Drink - Asahi on tap or plenty of Sake to choose from

I have enjoyed naked, fish, sushi Grill, a number of Times, but on this particular day did not perform as well as in the past The waitress is way overworked. She was doing many tables and our orders took quite some time to come to us. In fact, one order was missed you notified them of it and then they brought us the order within a few minutes. You could tell the rush to make the rules because the centers were falling out and wasn't tight besides also it being the wrong dish since we waited so long and it was the last dish we decided to suck it up and eat it As I mentioned, I've been here several times and this is a real disappointment this time around, especially I have brought guests with me that had never been when I only kept telling them how great it And it really wasn't that great at least on this day 

Great food and great service. I am not an expert, but I do love sushi and it was some of the best I have ever had. The flavor was off the chart and our server was fantastic!

Food was excellent, some of the best sushi I've had anywhere. Service was pleasant and helpful, but they were very busy.

No point in making a reservation if they won’t honor it

Wow!!! Wanda was one of the best servers I've ever had the pleasure of having. 10's across the board! The food was fresh & exquisite.
