Nanny’s Cafe is a quaint little sandwich shop that really surprised me in the best way. I had the Italian, and it was excellent. This is not your typical Subway-style sandwich. The difference is clear with premium freshly baked baguettes, meats, and cheeses that you can actually taste. Everything felt fresh and each was made to order. The women behind the counter (possibly the owners) were very friendly and genuinely happy to have us there, which added to the overall experience. The cafe itself was neat, clean, and well-organized, and the bathrooms were spotless. A great spot for a quality sandwich and welcoming atmosphere.

I ordered a spicy chicken pesto sandwich today. The bread was nice and crusty, the pesto was plentiful, and the chicken was scarce. Nothing like the picture on the menu or the sign on the wall. The three, very thin slices of deli chicken was unrecognizable with the chicken to pesto ratio. While I appreciate pesto, I would have enjoyed a sliced chicken breast as pictured so at least I could have tasted chicken. There was barely enough chicken to call it a chicken sandwich. For a $12 sandwich, it was very disappointing. The croissant in the case look delicious. Perhaps I'll stop again for a baked good, but I will not order another sandwich from this cafe. It's unfortunate. It would have been a good sandwich had there been more chicken on it.

It's a sandwich shop. The food was fresh, the service was phenomenal, and I loved the modern yet slightly rustic decor. I'm big fan of supporting small businesses and this quaint little shop is a perfect example of why with their personable staff and quality food, simple but good.

Nanny's Cafe is a hidden gem with sandwiches, salads, paninis, charcuterie plates, and so many pastries!
The ambiance is fast casual or sit and relax, especially with the outdoor seating.
During this visit, I had the quick chocolate croissant with a single espresso, but I cannot wait to go back and enjoy more of the menu.

The place wasn't the same as the pictures that the owner shared on the location. It's an old place with an old design, which is nice for people who want a nostalgic atmosphere. And a meal with a very cheap price. But I personally won't go there again. They didn't even heat up the croissant I ordered. They served it cold.
