The host seated us right away. Wait staff was fantastic, the food was quick and super delicious. We left Netflix bites restaurant for very poor service. This place was a 1000% better. Good job

I came expecting authentic southern food and got the "watered down" version🙄 the Mac and cheese was dry, waxy and flavorless... the yams were very sweet and full of syrup... the chicken was not it...Publix fried chicken is100% better. The collard greens was cooked with the stems...need I say more? If you are looking for authentic southern food this is not the spot for you.

I was excited to try their egg roll. But in my honest opinion the egg roll is about the size of a normal egg roll from the Chinese restaurant just a slight size up and is cut in half. For $17.00 dollars. It wasn’t worth 17.00 dollars. That is overpriced.

I can only speak on my experience but any complaints on service must’ve been a bad night because when I went, my server Leo was outstanding. So kind, so knowledgeable and just a great guy overall. Always made sure I was taken care of, glass was full and just a happy person made the experience. Wasn’t big on the shrimp and grits but that’s on me and not every place is going to have the best meal of my life. The banana pudding was outstanding though and will be back because of Leo!

$45 for this pathetic excuse of fried chicken? Dry, bland, and dumped in a box like leftovers from a gas station. No sides, no sauce, no effort—just overpriced mediocrity. A total embarrassment to MGM Grand. Save your money and eat anywhere else. Shameful.

This is genuinely the worst food I’ve ever had at a restaurant. We stopped in Vegas to rest on our way home from SLC and had dinner here, so I was hoping for a decent dinner. The beer had flakes of something at the bottom of the glass, the cornbread was basically dust, the Mac n cheese had some weird seasoning on it, the pork was rubbery and the coleslaw was just cabbage. I was actually impressed at how bad the food was. I would have been more satisfied eating at a McDonalds. The only reason this place is open is because it’s in the MGM. This place would be closed in 3 months if it was a standalone.

True southern (for vegas) kitchen food made from scratch! Food was excellent but what truly made our dinner was our server SAL!!! He was one of the most accommodating and genuine servers we have had in a long time! He definitely made our dinner experience 5+ stars! Please recognize him as he represents the Nellie brand incredibly well! We had full bellies before our flight back home to NC!

First the hostess looked us up and down. Service lacked attention almost like we were forgotten. We looked around and saw that other people who came after us got their food so we finally asked where are food was. Finally, the food came out all side dishes were cold. The waitress never came over to see how the food was. Save your money and do not come here. The roasted potatoes half of them were not edible too hard and burnt.

This was my 2nd visit.

1st visit. Lunch take-out during a conference. No issues and food was great. Had burgers.

2nd visit. Major disappointment. Showed up 1 hr before close and asked if the kitchen was still open. I was told yes and then we were seated. Given water. 10 min+, No service beyond water. Waiter was no where to be found, so we left. There were maybe 4-5 people at the bar counter and about 4-5 tables, so they were not busy.

Our initial waiter she was very sweet and nice..but shortly after we came in there was an older Mexican man who kept staring down our table..e came back several times asking us if we were done and if we needed a carry out tray..he then cleared our table..which is normal but not when everyone else is enjoying their food and they were there before us..he gave me very prejudice and rude vibes at the end..and made my wife feel uncomfortable as well...the food was great and our first waiter was sweet..but he acted very strange as if he didn't want us there.
