My husband who is the sushi person said it is some of the best sushi he’s had. Presentation was superior to Nobu.

I highly recommend Nene. It has one of the best tasting nigiri salmon ? sushi plates I have tasted in Las Vegas! I also posted a pic of the soft-shell crab and spicy tuna rolls! ?

Some friends introduced us to NeNe and we've been back several times since. It's actually become our go-to for sushi. But not only for sushi, they have excellent options for everyone in the family from the young kids to the older one and to me and my wife. The sushi is always fresh and diverse. From the basics like salmon nigiri to the brown butter scallop. My son has locked in on the black miso cod risotto and my wife's favorite is the son noodles with uni. We caught the happy hour a couple times which was nice on pricing. We get the chicken and steak skewers and basic rolls for the littles. Oh, I almost forgot the crispy rice spicy tuna!! That's on the happy hour menu too! The service has been top notch every time. It's a cute little place. We usually call ahead to see if they're busy, but so far, never had an issue getting a table. Can't say enough good things about this place!

Nice little sushi place with some unique dishes. Grilled chicken and mushroom items are really good if you want something other than sushi. All the sushi items we tried were fresh. Would definitely go back.

This place is outstanding. I live out of town and make a point to eat here every time I'm in Vegas. Great food, phenomenal quality, unique flavors and always great service. Highly recommend. They offer lunch specials, happy hour and an extensive menu. Hand rolls are delish, everything is just great, never disappoints. Bravo! And happy new year!

My friends and I had been coming here periodically, mainly for lunch. We typically always order the SPICY TUNA BOWL every time. Had tried the SALMON AVOCADO BOWL and the CHIRASHI BOWL but still end up going back the the SPICY TUNA BOWL every time. Decent amount of food. Comes with a small salad and a bowl of miso soup. Great for a simple lunch. It wasn't until recently that my friend and I decided to come here to check out their HAPPY HOUR after the longest time hearing from various other friends and their experiences. We had came here on a Sunday Night which their time for happy hour was 4pm - 10pm, otherwise on Mon - Sat, its 3pm - 6pm. We had arrived around 630P and the restaurant was mostly full (which was kind of surprising because its pretty quiet for lunch). We had ordered a variety of things to try. Our favorites this time was SALMON ROLL (which included avocado surprisingly), CRISPY RICE WITH SPICY TUNA, SALMON BELLY SUSHI. We used to go to another local place for salmon avocado roll but that place has long changed and increased price which had made us look for other places for happy hour/dinner. We had been searching for a place with CRISPY RICE that was done well for YEARS but finally had found it here. CRISPY exterior causing a nice chewy and crispy feel while inside is still soft. We LOVED this one. The SALMON BELLY SUSHI of course was amazing since it was salmon belly. Unforunately its ONE piece but it definitely a VERY fatty piece of salmon. The SALMON ROLL was simple as expected. It also had some sprouts in it too which was fine. Weirdly, it was pretty messily cut but thats fine. Some items where it was as expected was MIX TEMPURA (shrimp and vegetables), ASPARAGUS skewer, HAMACHI JALAPENO, and SALMON YUZU. The MIX TEMPURA was like any tempura anywhere else. ASPARAGUS skewer is a simple grilled asparagus with probably their house made tare sauce. Both the HAMACHI JALAPENO and SALMON YUZU is as the name suggests. Honestly I don't know what I was expecting.... CHICKEN SKEWER and the JAPANESE BEEF TONGUE was unfortunately done pretty badly. The CHICKEN, as expected quite dry/tough sadly. The BEEF TONGUE was also pretty tough as well. Was definitely hoping for a japanese establishment to be able to grill better but i guess not. I typically LOVE grilled beef tongue but the skewers overall just wasn't it. Aside from the skewers, overall was good. Looking forward to returning to try other things, of course repeating the things we loved. Service is decent as usual.

Food and service are top notch. Definitely a hidden gem and not over priced. I love that they have quality gluten free options.

yelp review - NeNe Japanese Contemporary Bistro i've been here multiple times, all for lunch, until this most recent visit, i came with a friend to try out their happy hour for the first time! first off - for lunch, i've only ever tried 2 items. i was not a fan of the salmon avocado bowl and then later on i tried their spicy tuna bowl and have never looked back afterwards. the first time i had the salmon avocado bowl i thought it was not totally not worth what i got for the price, as a lunch special. when we decided to come back and give it a try again, i got the spicy tuna bowl and i thought it was just the perfect amount, and perfectly filling for my lunch standards. for happy hour (we came on a sunday and it's HH 4-10pm which are their current opening hours), we got the following: * salmon roll (also has avocado which was an excellent surprise) $7 - loved * crispy rice with spicy tuna $7 - loved * mix tempura $7 - as expected * salmon yuzu $7 - not a fan * salmon belly sushi $2.75 - loved * asparagus skewer $2.50 - as expected * chicken skewer $2.50 - as expected * japanese beef tongue $4.50 - not a fan * hamachi jalapeno $8 - ok to close this up, this is definitely a place i'll be back at and hope you'll give them a chance, too!

I came here for a mid-week lunch and it was easy to find and plenty of parking in a plaza. I went with one of the lunch specials: Sushi Lunch 5 piece chef selection with spicy hamachi roll. The Sushi lunch is a great deal for $16.50 - it came with tuna, hamachi, fatty tuna, scallop and salmon for the 5 piece sushi.I also ordered the Tako-Wasabi, Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna, and Ebi Ten (5 piece tempura with shrimp and veggies) to share for the table, and we were full for sure. The service here is very attentive and the vibe here is on the quieter side.I would come back here to try dinner and happy hour.
